    Sundance pergola purchased from Archadeck of southwest Ohio. Instillation was completed September 2022. When the instillation was complete we had concerns with the work that was done and brought it up to the contractor as well as the installer. They had placed the downspout on the support beam closest to the house and the power box was not covered in any way. I was told that the gutter system was graded to drain that direction and that it was normal. We were told the power box was weatherproof and that this is how they are installed. First Spring usage the motor went out and saw one half of the gutter was not properly draining. Far side away from our house holding 2 in. water and caulking in this area was peeling away. Archadeck now says the power box for the unit was not weatherproof and they would now put a protective box that would house the control box and the power adapter. They would also grade the gutter system differently so that it would drain properly as intended. Archadeck came out and properly replaced the motor so that was good although it was over a month later. What they had done to the gutter system fixed nothing it still did not drain properly. They also installed a protective box that was too small to properly house the control unit and power adapter. They crammed the power adapter into the box against the controls rendering that control box unusable. They were called out again and this time agreed to replace the faulty gutter placing the downspout in the appropriate spot and they would get a bigger control box covering. Gutter was installed finally after waiting another month and a half. Nothing was done with the covering for our control unit. When tested the gutter system it is draining but now the water is also coming down the support legs not just the gutter. At this point I have no faith that they can fix the issues that we have and would like a refund so that we can hire someone competent enough to fix the issues that we have.

    if i could give 0 Stars i would, We hired them to do a covered patio, they said it would take 3-4 weeks once started and it took 4 months, the first crew they had were landscapers and not builders, the roof we wanted was ordered twice as the first time it was wrong color, second time the folks doing it did the entire thing wrong the third time i did not get what i wanted the company changed it to something else without my approval and after that was installed getting it completed so it looks professional is only getting done because i have to do it, DO NOT USE this business they did not have qualified people doing the work and only clouge things together!! all of the work performed is sloppy and not done well based on flyers and picture of previous work.

    I am sorry to see that you are not satisfied with our services. I want to make sure that we do apologize for the delay, but some things cannot be helped when completing jobs. Please know that we do everything we can but sometimes our vendors mess up, as they are human as well. The first order was read wrong by the company, and they sent the wrong color. They apologized and sent out the second roof that was the right color as soon as they could. Unfortunately, we cannot make production of a product go faster and we do apologize for the inconvenience of your time as the creation of the roof did take a couple of weeks. The crews we put on a job are qualified professionals and know what they are doing. You are referring to a crew who works with landscapers, but they are the crew who builds decks and roofs in combination with another landscaping crew. They work for the same company but have different specialties. The first crew who put your roof on did not do it to the specification and therefore the warranty would not be valid. We had other roofers come out and verify that the warranty would not be valid. They both agreed that the work was good and would hold up but that it did void the warranty as it was not per specification. Once we heard this, we made sure to redo the roof, so it was to the specification with no charge to you. We had another crew come out to do this as the prior crew would no longer come on your property due to the physical altercation you had with a crew member. To be honest with you it was hard for us to ask a crew to come out and replace the roof as we had to make sure they would be able to take the tongue lashings and rudeness that you presented on a daily basis. We do professional work and care what our final product looks like. I am sorry that you do not approve of the outcome. We wish you the best with your outdoor living space.
