The contact phone # on my bill for Dayton Pediatric Imaging is ***** *** ****. But after searching that # online it brings up Lakeland Radiologists, P.A. in ******* ***********. After mistakenly paying account # ****** off completely with personal check #**** on 7-1-2022 in the amount of $131.75, it was realized that a Health Savings Account should have been used. On 7-4-2022 the situation was explained to **** at ***** *** **** & the account was paid in full over the phone with an H.S.A. card payment & confirmation #********** issued. **** stated a refund for the personal check debited from my local account at Minster Bank in Sidney, OH would be issued 30 days from that days date (8-4-2022). On 7-7-2022 personal check #**** was cashed after the bill had already been paid over the phone with the H.S.A. card. This was expected. On 8-2-2022 I called ***** *** **** & asked Marcia what the status was of the refund payment & she stated it would be 30 days from that date (9-2-2022). I explained that I was expecting to hear that the reimbursement had already been mailed & she stated all she could do was send the status of the reimbursement to "patient escalations." I advised her to please do so. Today (8-30-2022) I spoke with AC at ***** *** **** & she once again stated that although the reimbursement in the amount of $131.75 has been approved that it would be yet another 30 days until the check arrived. So when I made the statement (question) to AC that the payment would be delivered by 9-30-2022 ?, she stated it could be "more than 35 days." I'm not certain what business I'm speaking with at ***** *** ****, or where they're geographically located,, but I simply want my owed reimbursement in the amount of $131.75 to be sent ASAP. Dayton Pediatric Imaging, Inc. apologizes for any inconvenience incurred by the patient’s family. Dayton Pediatric Imaging, Inc. utilizes a third party medical billing company that specializes in medical billing for radiology. The phone number on the invoice [800-666-1816] is the contact information for Dayton Pediatric Imaging, Inc.’s medical billing company. The medical billing company is utilized by many other radiology practices across the country. Refund checks are processed by the medical billing company once a month. Check #***** for $131.75 was written on 8/16/2022 and mailed to the guarantor’s home address. Check #***** was cashed and cleared Dayton Pediatric Imaging, Inc.’s bank account on 9/6/2022.
