    Custom Reptile Habitats and Maximum Reptiles have stated they're shutting down and liquidating. Very disappointing after waiting for an order for nearly 10 months with nothing to show for it. I'm hoping my credit card company will be able to help out with a chargeback, otherwise I'm going to have to try and make a claim during the liquidation process...

    i ordered an enclosure april 8. 2024. no enclosure and no refund. i had spent a lot of money with this company and was very nice and patient with waiting for my enclosure to be done. now the website is gone. i want my money back i have requested a refund and have not gotten any

    Have been waiting for an order that I placed in June with 8-10 week lead times, was told in October that my order would be put together and shipped by late November early December and now, after emailing multiple times have been completly ghosted, at this point I just want my money back so I can order a new product for my pet.

    Like so many others who have filed complaints here, I purchased a custom enclosure that was never received nor was I ever reimbursed for. I purchased the enclosure on April 21 of this year and was told to anticipate an 8-10 week fulfillment timeline. I checked in with the company in late July to request an update. A customer service representative shared that they were experiencing long delays due to supply chain issues and offered to issue a full refund if I no longer wanted to wait, as they were unable to offer a new timeline in which to expect the product. I waited. With no new news, in September, I decided to accept their offer and cancel the order. The customer service representative told me I could expect my refund within 10 business days. I followed up twice in October and have never received my refund nor the product I purchased. I hope they are never allowed to do business again. I will never recommend them to anyone.

    This has been a nightmare. I originally ordered a reptile enclosure + stand from customreptilehabitats.com on April 14th with an estimated ship time of 8-10 weeks. That would put expected delivery around mid-late June. After June passed without ANY response from the company I reached out via email on August 1st. I asked for any type of shipping update on my order and received a generic ‘we’re working on it!” response with no more specifics. I waited for a few more months and then reached out via email a second time on October 17th. This time they said they are still working on it and were hoping to have it shipped in mid-November. They claimed that they’d also give me a discount due to delay but that discount never showed up in any account. It is now December 30th and I still haven’t heard a word from them! SCAM COMPANY!!!!

    I ordered my cage April 4th of this year with an 8-10 weeks turn turn around. It has now been approximately 37 weeks since my order was placed. They cannot give any update and it’s very hard to get ahold of them.

    I placed an order in August of 2024 and was told I would receive it in 8 to 10 weeks. I followed up in October and was told it would deliver in November. I followed up in November and was told it would deliver in January. I then canceled the order and was told it would take 10 business days for a refund.... its now December and I have not gotten the product or the refund. Now the company will not respond at all and the phone number is disconnected

    Going on 11 months for an order that had an 8 week lead time. Continue to get push back dates and assurances it is going out. Will not refund when asked

    I placed an order on July 3rd, 2024 with the expected ship date to be 8-10 weeks from then. Reached out to the company via email on October 24th and they said it would probably ship sometime in January. Cancelled my order on October 25th and they said refunds take about 10 business days to process. Didn't receive it so emailed them again on November 14th wondering where my money was and they said "they'd get to it as soon as possible." Reached out again on November 25th and December 2nd and did not receive a response so I've issued a chargeback. I understand that unexpected delays can happen but it should be clearly communicated to the customer as soon as they happen so I know when I can expect my order. The least you could have done was send an email blast or something letting people know that you have some serious delays and offer refunds and updated shipping times. As a customer I expect the order process to be transparent and easy. The only communications I have recieved were automatic marketing emails (nice when you haven't recieved your product yet) and only when I message you did I hear back, and now I don't even have that. I implore anybody else dealing with this company to issue chargebacks and I implore anybody planning to get something from them to consider one of the other countless options. I really hope Custom Reptile Habitats can learn from this in the next few months if they are even still around.

    I made a purchase with this company back in February of this year, after going back and forth for months with no estimated time for me to receive my product that I paid in full for, I decided to cancel and request a refund. This process started on 9/11, I was told to allow up to 10 business days for the refund, I did not receive it after that 10 business day period. Today is 11/26, and I still have no refund, nor any communication on when I can expect one.
