      On August 22nd, 2022, ******* *******, who is the owner of TJ Contractors was hired to stain the deck attached to my home and replace any loose boards found. He agreed to do this work and he requested half of the total $800 to secure the job with his company. On this day, he was paid by me $400 via a check that he deposited via mobile app with his bank. The check cleared my bank on August 23rd, 2022. Over the next few weeks, Mr. ******* would give me the run around about completing the work. From stating that the day he was to come his wife had to work, to the follow up agreed day, his mother had an emergency and was at the ER, to he would come on Tuesday, to saying his daughter broke her arm, and to finally saying that he could only come on weekends. Although, the follow up day to his last excuse he gave me a Monday that he could come. I finally decided to ask him for my money back, which he suggested if Monday did not work for me. I told him that would not. He agreed to bring my money to me on Sunday, September 25th. Again, Mr. ******* was a no show and he gave me the excuse that a family emergency came up. I spent the entire week in contact with Forest Park Police and Springfield Township Police. Both responding officers called Mr. ******* and he promised that he would give the money back by Wednesday, September 28th. Again, nothing. I contacted Mr. ******* again and he claimed that he mailed it on Tuesday, September 27th. I waited until Monday, October 3rd and nothing came. He said that he would respond to the Cash App that I sent on Monday, September 26th and as of today, there is no response. All I want is my money back from this company. I now see he never intended to do the job. I was an easy fleece for this man and his company.

      *** was the subcontractor from champion windows that assigned to build my sunroom to my home. Due to not meeting the deadline because of *** is not showing up to work, Champion windows made a decision to take him off the project and send another crew to my home to finish the job. Unfortunately *** and I had spoken regarding him fixing the gable vent and the wall of my sunroom of my home, he asked me for $400 to buy the materials so i have my wife write a check and give him. Despite of what happened between him and Champion windows , He promised that he will come back to finish what i paid him for but it never happen. I text and called him numerous time but he kept giving me different days and never came. I texted again and finally ask for a refund since its been almost a month now, he said to me that he will come to my home to issue the refund and he will pick up his extension cord that he left to my home but he never show up. I tried to call earlier and he never pick up. I am not asking for anything else, all i need is my $400 back to us.
