            In July 2023, BBB investigated Soda Stays’ business practices. This investigation was prompted by complaints and consumer inquiries. Specifically, consumers have expressed that they have paid for a rental property but are unable to access the said rental. On September 5, 2023, BBB confirmed through mail returned by the post office that the addresses/locations where Soda Stays claims to be located on their website and social media accounts are not valid for mailing purposes. On July 2023, BBB checked the website (www.sodastays.com) to determine when it was created and where it was registered. The website was created on May 23, 2020 and the registrant information was not disclosed. In July and August of 2023, your BBB reached out to Soda Stays in writing via email, postal mail, and by phone seeking background information of this business. To date, BBB has not received a response from the company. Based on the information detailed above, BBB cannot state with confidence that we have a clear understanding of the business practice.

              Same thing happened to me! Water shut off, internet shut off and same day received an eviction notice from the true homeowner after I was told Mary and Chris were married and truly owned the property. Paid $500 week for over 2 months for lies and deceit.
