    Friday may 27, 2022 I had contacted bobcat multi works of degraff, ohio 2-3 weeks prior. Due to a leaking line I wasn't sure of exact location of tank. I stated to them I wanted to locate tank, pump and inspect. When the finally showed up. He couldn't locate tank I found the tank, I uncovered the tank. He stuck the suction hose and started to pump. During which I received a call from the owner agitated that it had taken so long blaming me for it. Once he "finished" pumping the tank He left without speaking to me. 2 days later I installed a riser in the tank when I could clearly see the sludge in the tank I measured it and found 24"-27" of sludge in the bottom. They had not fully emptied it nor did they inspect. They also want to charge for locating and digging which they did neither. I immediately called a second septic service company they came out inspected the overall job stated the prior company did not do what was required. Was recommended to not pay. And would need pumped out to inspect the tank. Also stated everything the bobcat multi works informed me of was not correct when dealing with a septic service.

    We were doing a new build construction and our builder gave us a name of someone but they werent licensed in our county. We came across this company and even though they were $2000 higher they had the time to do it they said. Our well was supposed to be installed but they got there to put the septic in before he had the well in that was a different company. They did not bring water with them to fill the tank so my husband got barrels of water and put into the tank. They did not say how much water, we didnt have any paperwork on anything, the quote they gave us was verbal. We paid them in full the day they did it and a week and a half later the tank floated up out of the ground. The only thing that we had was a receipt showing paid in full. We didnt get any warranty or anything and it was by an email so my husband called and they said they were going to charge $**** to come and reset it. He told them he had water in it they were going to have to pump out if that was the case and when they got there. They said they didnt realize how much water there was so they had to get another truck as theirs was out of service to pump out the water. They didnt have water and had it delivered. When we got a **** it was ****. We never agreed to that, he had agreed to the **** even though I felt it shouldve been covered. When I did call and question they said they do not fill tanks that is always the owners responsibility to fill a new septic tank. I had never imagined that was on the owner to do I thought that would be part of the expense of installation and some type of warranty but we were told no it is not and we need to pay it or they will be late fees. The only warranty they said is on the physical tank if it was cracked but we still got nothing in writing even on that I feel they shouldve provided something in writing a quote especially when it was over $1000 more and something in writing on how to fill it and that it was our obligation to make sure Water was in it.
