This company hacked into my office computer with a "call us to resolve your problem" claiming to be Microsoft support. I fell for it the first time, paid them $199 through a weird set up of a remote check. Then I got another blue screen saying my IP address was expired with their phone number again. Without researching it (my mistake) I called. They remote fixed it and wanted $599.99. I did research it (scam) and refused to pay. Now they have locked up my computer.

We just learned that my mother-in-law is being victimized by a phony tech support company that calls itself big bite. She's 92 and they lied to her that her POA Son said it's okay for her to write them a check to provide spyware support. She said about 2 weeks ago she paid $1, 000. A few min later, she said $600... This is not the first time she's been victimized in this way.

On March 9, 2022, I was working remotely with the Geek Squad who was helping me with my computer. It was strongly suggested that because my internet and computer had been hacked, that I should buy an anti-hacking package that would clean up and get rid of this spyware--that this was the only way my computer would be cleaned! So I said yes to a 3-year coverage period for $499.99. This was a check processed through Big Byte Support LLC, their check 1097, which was withdrawn from my Chase bank account. I then was in contact with another person not associated with the Geed Squad who was checking my computer and saw that a spyware program, Pegasus, was active on the computer. At that time, we talked about where I got the anti-hacking program. He said I should not have used Big Byte and that this anti-hacking software was a hoax. He removed it from my computer and said I should contact my back, which I did today (3/21/22). They indicated I should try working with Big Byte first. Called the number noted for Big Byte only to be told via computer voice to call back, they were not available at that time. So I'm trying this process first to see what can be done to get my money back.

As we have received your post regarding our client Barbara Hayes.

We tried to reach her multiple times and we got her to understand the issue, and Finally, we have decided to give her a refund of $499.99.

Reason for a refund: Another Tech support company told her to take the money back.

Big Byte Support has been taking advantage of my mother for some time now. I am still tracing how far back she has been paying for their "services." I cannot imagine any service they could provide that would amount to over $10,000 in just the past 6 months alone. They do not have a working website or phone to be reached further proving to me they are a fraud. THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE SCAM. Please help us resolve and reach this company so they cannot do this to others.

On May 26, 2022, this company yet again took more money from my mother's checking account.

He had already hacked her before taking thousands and thousands of dollars from Mar 2021 through Feb 2022. We thought we had stopped him from taking more but he found a way in again. I have personally spoken with him in which he assured his "billing" department would be in touch to resolve the issue.

This department does not exist as he would not give me the contact information to reach them myself. I'm trying this process now to see what can be done to get my mother's money back. This has been a nightmare which we'd like to end and I hope this man can be stopped so this does not happen to other innocent victims.
