      The "representative" was very adamant on wanting to see my bill to make me switch even if I don't approve. Horrible way to scam those who are unaware of the dangers of showing that information. They will switch you over even if you say no, as long as they see your bill you will be switched even if you say no while they give you info. The person also claimed that my household has been though them for "many many years" up until recently and wanted to "renew" my contract, as if I don't know who I pay my bills to!

      I am sick and tired of these people showing at my door trying to scare tactic me into switching to their company! They show up telling us we red flagged because we did not respond to their letter. Then they ask to see my Duke Energy Bill. Why would they need to see my bill? These people to STOP this harassment! My supplier has never said I need to do anything except pay my bill, which I do. I'm NOT switching suppliers.

      This company is a scam company! I told the "representative" I wanted this fraudulent subscription cancelled two weeks before, April 2024, they sent me a bill. I called to make sure they cancelled and another "representative" told me she had no record of me cancelling my subscription. She told me she would check into it and cancelled today. This company knows it is robbing people of money. They are still going to charge me for this month. Fees should be stopped upon cancellation. This is pure robbery. Then they say that customers have to wait two billing cycles AND PAY for those cycles! I'm sure they can contact the utility company to let them know to switch back but they are getting away with robbery of customers by saying it takes that long to cancel! The only thing that came of this subscription is that I accrued another bill!!! My utility bill was the same as before I subscribed!!! I've read their responses to other complaints and all they say is that they'll work on customers issues with them. They do not resolve anything except stealing customer's money! This is a scam company and its obvious how they lock you into a garbage service that doesn't do a thing for the customer and only profits for doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and then makes you pay AFTER YOU HAVE CANCELLED their garbage service!!! This company is a fraudulent company!!! Someone has to be protecting this garbage company because they are allowed to fraud, scam, and steal from people!!!

We do not have access to your utility bills but you absolutely should have seen a discount on them since your subscription with us went active; we would be happy to review them with you and reach out to the utility to address any discrepancies. In addition, your cancellation was submitted to the utility when requested. The only bills you are receiving are for credits that should have already been applied on your utility account - not for anything after the cancellation date. Our Customer Care team will be contacting you to address your concerns.

      The same guy with this company has been coming to my door for months. So much so that he has learned my schedule and his been knocking on my door every week on my day off for the last 6 weeks. After he stands on my porch for 10 minutes he sits in his car in front of my house for 15+ minutes. I have pictures of him looking in my front window. Harassing people in their own home and being a peeping Tom is not how you get business. Yesterday when he came I yelled at him to go away and that I was sick of him coming to my house. If he comes again the cops will be involved.

      I've had pretty much the same situation occur that everyone else is describing on here. I did not get the guys name (I wish I had), but he shows up at my door in a normal car. There was no company car or markings. He says Duke Energy sent him out because there were inserts in my bill that I hadn't responded too that needed to be taken care of. He said because I hadn't responded in 60 days Duke sent him out to personally take care of the situation. He needed some personal information and my Duke bill in order to fix this (something about a two digit number off the bill?). At this point I have a man who has identified himself as sent by Duke but has a IGS Energy badge and clothing asking me for a bunch of personal information and my Duke bill. At no time did he ever announce he was a sales person trying to get me to switch my account and he was pretending to represent Duke Energy. This is very deceitful practice. Luckily I realized what was going on - I called him out for being a salesman and deceitful and asked him to leave my property immediately.

      trash business and monopoly scam, promising better rates for already struggling americans then your bill goes through the roof how dare bbb and ohio even let a company like this exist with the clear gutter trash that it is.

      We were not connected for over 2 months, when we finally realized it , i called to be told that we needed to wait about 5 business day before something would change. Meantime they didn't reimburse for the months we were connected. they said that they have too many account to be able to see if everyone is connected, I thought "Hire more people" . but no, they collect money but they are not there for their clients and that's not the way you conduct a business .I will not recommend this company to anyone

      I was approached by a door to door representative oF igsenergy on my way to work one morning. Being a polite civilian i asked him to come back another day, on his second return we agreed to meet on my day off. He returned on a Saturday morning but I'll be honest, I had my reservations because he was insisting on seeing and photographing my electric bill. I told him I didn't feel comfortable with that but I would still consider the solar service if he would give me more information. He insisted on "needing" my bill to continue the "outstanding " service they provide which would be a considerable discount to my billing. After considerable back and forth with this guy he finally realized this bill request was a deal breaker. This representative tried many intimidating tactics and even left with a nasty comment. I felt a bit threatened by his demeanor. I will happily give his name if necessary but I don't think these company policies can be acceptable or received as professional I live in Lansing IL, I will do more in regards to posting negative reviews in the hopes of warning my neighbors but also to help improve the growing industry's customer service.

      Tell me how it makes sense that I’m paying for these panels on a house that I don’t even live in anymore??? Now, in all fairness, this is more on my dumb realtor for not including the transfer paperwork in the sale of the house, but still. IGS should still be able to work with me here on a resolution so I’m not paying for someone else’s electric for the next 20+ years. Highly disappointing to say the least.

      This company is terrible they let other people sign a contract for other people's bills and then don't hold themselves accountable for when they get busted because I've been fried it out of $900 at least this year because of somebody else signing a contract for my bill this company is morally wrong but I guess in Ohio is legally right so they don't hold themselves accountable thank you
