Do not buy a home from this company. Once house is sold you won’t hear from them again. Warranty department is non existent and concerns or issues after you sign the dotted line will fall on deaf ears.

DO NOT BUY HOUSE WITH MARONDA. I bought a house in Border Place Pataskala with Maronda a year ago.. It has floor deflection and shaking in living room and island. I wrote an email around Dec 5th and Maronda created a work order. Dave, the gentleman that takes care of work order around Boarder place came and recommended the framing people to come see. A week later, last Thursday, framing team of Maronda came and put four supporting joist in basement and didn’t see any improvement. They recommended two LVL (underneath island and living room) and pole in the middle of each to support. I was told they will put the order in and come fix, could be a different team according to the schedule at the time of repair. Now, they are calling/texting me to make another appointment to see the house again by for inspection. Why is Maronda not following the recommendation given by their own framing team? Why there has to be several inspection for one problem? I was even told by the team that they originally had two joist underneath the island but some lumbar person came and took one joist off at the time of built, which created the problem of shaking. They are saying if everything match to the print Maronda homes will not be responsible. How the print going to measure how strong woods are? If it strong enough why is it shaking/deflecting? Maronda homes wants to find a way to get out of a situation inspecting one issue several time with different people. Unfortunately, I got into this faulty house build, hope you read this and not get into same situation.

Zero stars. It's been a year and a month. They still haven't repaired anything they agreed on during our inspection. I've been sending emails asking and I get a vague response and nothing else.

Avoid Maronda Homes. As they are in the business of building homes, you would expect the home to last at least 30 years since that's probably how long your mortgage is, but they only warranty the house for exactly 365 days after you sign papers. Once day 366 hits, they wash their hands of any problems caused by the cheap materials & labor they used on your build. We have a kitchen cabinet that is literally falling apart after only 14 months, Maronda won't do anything about it, they've washed their hands of the problem. It took 5 full months to get the landscaping put in. Nothing but dirt for a yard for 5 months. We were also lied to by our sales rep at the beginning of the process, which we didn't learn about until after the papers were signed. The only reason we didn't walk away at that time was that it was going to cost us thousands of dollars to do so. I'm not surprised that Maronda is not BBB accredited. They have misleading business practices, use cheap materials, and wash their hands of their build as soon as they can. If they could put a 24 hour warranty on the house after you sign papers and be able to get away with it, I'm sure they would. 365 days is not near long enough of a warranty for something that should last 30+ years.

If I could give them 0 stars I would.my contact has been canceled, why do I have to wait 4 to 6 weeks to get my money and property back, I only had 2 or 3 days to send money and sign the quit deed for my property, 14 months later they canceled my build, excuses never ending, The biggest mistake I ever made in my life was going into a contract with this company! I would like them to return my assets and money, they are creating more hardship even after Ive canceled, give me my money/ property back!!!! in a timely manner.! Like yesterday.

I buy my house almost 2 months ago and Im still waiting for the company finish my yard. This is my second house I buy to maronda and the experience in this one is the worst. Im dream to have my house build my fence and see my dogs running in the yard and thats not happens and because the yard is a mess walking my dogs with the leash I twisted my ankle and lose days at work for that. And the new phase have house with the yard grading and waiting for the sod.

I would leave 0 stars for this company if I could. Maronda Homes is a huge joke, don't waste your time or money with them. Terrible communication, horrible customer service, and I don't recommend anyone building a house with them. My husband and I have lived in our house for 3 years now, and we are still dealing with issues. One including flooding in our backyard due to incorrect grading of the yard behind us, which is on a hill. The flooding is now killing our grass and attracting mosquitoes. We can't even use our backyard because of this. -10/10 recommend

Maronda Homes is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. From being lied to from our sales rep to lack of communication to being fed bs answers from the production supervisor to my yard still not being done almost half a year after closing. Stay away from this scum company. F*** Maronda Homes.

I think I have had NOTHING but trouble with MARONDA and my warning is DO NOT deal with them. You WILL regret it.

Buyers Beware, Do not let Moronda pour any concrete during snowy wintery months. I moved in my home almost a year ago and my driveway looks disgusting from where they poured my driveway in winter months, pulled the blankets up.. The driveway is discolored with markings.. Contacted several times and was told the discoloration will go away in a couple years which is unacceptable.. In return has left me with no alternative then to hire an attorney to resolve my frustrations..
