I brought a Lexus on feb 22nd. Sell person was very nice. When it came the financial manager **** was nice - but there were problems I signed a paper that said I agreed to put $6500 down and lease my car. The pymt would be 694 if I’m correct or a little more. After signing the paper **** did not ask for my down pymt. I ask him if he was going to take it and he said someone will pay and proceeded to walk out. He got to the door and said I should get a $500 rebate, and I neede to sign the paper for it. I signed and he walk out. I had a problem with the tags and had to go back to dealership that was finally resolved, I left a van for **** about the refund and he said he would and a message for when I picked up my tags. He didn’t - so I call again and he said I should have it in two wks. I waited three wks and never got. I left a van for **** again and never heard back. I called the dealership and the person I spoke with said they use the rebate to help with the pymts to bring it down - that was never explained. I did pay the down pymt. and I have yet to hear from anyone. I tried to file this last mth, but it must not have gone thru.Germain Lexus of Dublin Response

Our Finance Manager Jeff called Bonita Jamison and explain that she got a $500 rebate from Lexus. All Lexus rebates have to be applied to the deal. I think the miscommunication was that she taught or Jeff made it sound that she was getting a $500 rebate on the mail. Her contract reflects that she got the $500 rebate on her car purchase in additon to what she put down.Review from Joe P

I cannot vouch for their service but only their inspections! I felt like I was totally taken and it was handled in a very unprofessional way. The biggest is after it was over and they kept sending me texts is there anything else we can help you with and I would say yes here is my issue they would not respond but basically they told me things I needed on my car that I didn't and they missed three different items that were missed. They quoted me $189 and the bill was over $230 because of feesReview from Sherelle D

I am displeased with the service that I received from Germain Lexus of Dublin. It has been 30 days since I signed the loan agreement for my car and they intentionally have not sent the paperwork over to my credit union nor provide the memorandum to obtain the license plates. The temporary tags are due to expire on 4/15/22. This was due to my refusal to apply with another credit union. Throughout my time spent at the dealership, they continued to push me to obtain financing through another credit union so they could receive a kick back. When I declined and informed him that I was already pre-approved with my credit union, they proceeded to collect my information in an attempt to pull my credit. I was then told me that I wouldnt be able to finance two vehicles because I told him that I owned the Telluride sitting in the parking lot. Luckily, they werent able to access my credit profiles because they were frozen. When they finally submitted the vehicle I selected and my information to my credit union, they received notification that I was approved for the vehicle, my credit score (which was in the mid 700s), and my interest rate. It also noted that I was a member of the credit union. While signing the paperwork, they continued to make comments about my profession as a notary signing agent/business owner that was irrelevant and made me feel uncomfortable along with attempting to tell me how to run my business. Then I was told that I had to remove my mask in order to sign. When I received the keys for the vehicle to finally leave, they continued to make comments stating that I should have applied with the other credit union and stated that they wanted to call me regarding my profession and the paperwork. Since then, Ive contacted them to see if anything else was needed, but have not received a response. I had to provide the loan documents to my credit union and I have not been able to get my tags.Review from Mary W

On November 15, 2021, I took my Lexus 350 Rx into Germain on *************** to have the splash guard under my engine reconnected and a detailed cleaning. The service department then informed me that my Head Gasket needed repaired. I had never had any engine lights come on and in February 2021, ********* did a complete diagnostic assessment and did not see any issues. They also said my rear Axle seal was "leaking very badly" and needed fixed. They also stated my front break pads and roters needed replaced. In February 2021, ********* replaced my rear break pads but stated that the front pads and rotors were fine. I agreed to the Axle seal being repaired and the breaks. Then they said when they test drove my car after all of the work they did, the speed sensor came on and needed replaced. Prior to taking it to ****** my engine light had never came on. After it was there for a week, being repaired, the light came on. I wanted a second option. So I took my car to ************************* on ***** road. They completed several diagnostic tests and their reports stated that my Head Gasket was fine and did not need repaired. They also said there was no sign that the axle seal was replaced or repaired. Lexus wanted to charge me $5100 to replace my Head Gasket and $1700 for the computer speed sensor when in reality, the Head Gasket was fine. The true issue how is that I've gotten my car back and there are 3 yellow lights, one for "check ADW" and "engine light". ****** tried to reset but the lights keep coming on. How is it that when I took my car into Lexus, asked for the cover to be repaired.. I leave with a car that has engine and ADW lights on?? I tried to resolve this issue with Lexus but the manager *** B refused to work with me. It simply doesn't add up. Car goes in with no lights on.. comes out with yellow lights on?? If there were engine lights on, I would have asked ***** to do a diagnostic to figure out the issue or they would have told me after the first list of issues that there was the engine light on...but they did not. Not until they repaired the rear axle seal and then took it for a test drive, did the light come on. I was on vacation and out of town for medical treatment for three weeks. My car was under their care for the entire time. I believe they are responsible for this issue related to my speed sensor being damaged. They refuse to take responsibility for it and made tons of excuses. I trusted Lexus but they lied about my Head Gasket and broke my speed sensor. Frown Good example of taking advantage of older women who knows nothing about cars. Trying to get me to pay for things that don't need repaired and using technical terms to avoid taking responsibility for their mistakes.
