Government Actions
Government Action: BBB reports on known government actions involving business’ marketplace conduct:
The State of Ohio, Franklin County, Grand Jury Indictment - Charles Michael Hush

The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved.  We are providing a summary of the government’s allegations, which have not yet been proven.

On April 18, 2018, the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office stated that a grand jury had returned an indictment charging Charles Michael Hush, with allegedly engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and theft between October 18, 2014 and May 3, 2016. Hush was the owner of the Jewelry Refinery located at 12 E. Bridge St., Dublin, OH, and he allegedly agreed to sell jewelry on a consignment basis whereby he would keep a percentage of the sale of jewelry, but then didn’t give any of the more than $300,000 in estimated proceeds to certain consumers, according to the county.

The matter is pending.
