      Always loved Ridgid tools but I will never purchase again. Their customer support is non existent. Recently purchased a $199 PowerClear drain cleaning machine. When trying to register it for the lifetime warranty, no matter what I entered for the Model number it was rejected. Attempted calling but was put into an endless loop. Contacting by email twice just got me 2 AI auto responses telling me to visit the website or call for more information. The product box only had a Catalog # on it, ****** search listed that same catalog # as the model number, on the bottom of the product the model # is shown as being the product name. Neither of those entered in anyway were recognized as the model number, I tried the serial number and every other number I could find on the product and box, nothing worked. Ridgid has the box marked as cannot be returned if opened or used so when I attempted to return the product the day after buying, because I could not get it registered, **** ***** attempted to not allow the return. Luckily I spend thousands of dollars per year on my ** ****** **** and the manager didn't want to lose my business permanently. I will never buy Ridgid again after this experience.

      Good Product Lousy customer service especially when it comes to warranty concerns. Do not buy this product for the life time warranty. First you will be lucky to even register the warranty and this is a requirement for warranty service. their website doesn't work and when you call the expedited customer number no one answers the phone you are put on a continuous loop. Today I waited over 30 min. and no one answered. Previously I have called in and tried to use their web site with the same result. They do not value anybody as a customer!.

      Support is totally non existent. 2+ hour wait times, and still can’t get thru, corporate number rings busy/unable to get thru. Would rate a “0” if it were possible, they don’t deserve even the one star.

      I tried to register a recent purchase for the Ridgid "Lifetime Warranty" program, in accordance with Ridgid instructions. The Ridgid tool registration website continues to give the message that it's out of order. Customer service chat attempts result in an invitation to PAY for customer support (you have to be kidding me). When I emailed Ridgid customer service, I received a message directing me to the retailer (**** ****** who tells me I must contact Ridgid to register purchases. I've waited on customer service call holds for hours. I should've gone with *******

      The Ridgid life time warranty program is Basically a marketing scam. I have a 2 year old shop vac that is leaking water out of the bin. I contacted Rigdid and this was their response: Based on the pictures that you sent, the cause of rusting is likely because of the water left inside the drum. The rusting found around the bottom of the drum and even on the drum wall is likely from not storing the vac [clean and] dry 100%. If it’s not dried the water will pool at the rim and sit consequently causing the rust and holes. Also we use the standard screws for the drum because they never run out in the market. They can be purchased at your local hardware stores. Additionally, there are several grades of stainless steel in the market and the ones we use for our drums don’t mean they won’t rust, but they’re highly resistant to corrosion following the proper care and maintenance in the user’s manual (screenshot below). Moreover, the serial number of the vac ************ indicates it was made in November 2021. Therefore, we respectfully decline warranty coverage) No where in any of the paperwork for the vac does it say it has to be 100 percent clean and dried after each use or the warranty will be void. But that is what they said in their email. They also blatantly say they are rejecting the claim because it is 3 years old. THEIR WARRANTY SAYS LIFETIME. Their warranty is basically a marking scam.

      I called Ridgid to inquire about my lifetime warranty. I was on hold for over 90 minutes with no pick up! INEXCUSABLE !!! Their tools are great but their customer service STINKS !!!

      I bought a Ridgid 10 in tiles saw and the assembly instructions are horrible and the so called help line has you on hold for hours. A simple diagram for the water lines would solve the issue not to mention a help line that is staffed properly. High call volume is BS for management cut staffing levels back. Very expensive saw and first Ridgid product, but at this rate may be my last. About to return it to **** ******

      I have tried several times to register my product for life time warranty both online and by phone with no success. When on their register website I get unrecognized error. I tried several times to call a representative and set on hold for over 45 minutes with no one picking up. This is unacceptable. I will be returning your product and warn other contractors. Shameful and unprofessional.

      Rigid failed to register my drill/driver combo and didn't tell me, and now will not honor the warranty on those two items. Email communication has turned into a back and forth with them requesting tons of information and then providing useless feedback and blaming me for not registering my tools even though I did, their site says I did, but they say through email that I didn't. Incredibly disappointing.
