I gave the owner of Pro Touch Remodeling & Construction $650 up front July 9th, 2022, to take out 2 skylights because one was leaking. They came out on July 15th, 2022, they took skylights out and put wood and shingles on the roof in the backside of my house. Inside they filled in the space with drywall. I contacted him on July 20th, 2022, where the replaced drywall inside my house was leaking. He came out on July 21st and put white stuff like caulking under some shingles on roof that he said was sticking up. I thought he fixed the problem, so I paid him the other $650 owed him on July 22nd, 2022. The total for the repair was $1,300.00. Then on August 3rd, 2022, another leak occurred over my sink by a light fixture. I contacted him about this on the same day as this issue happened. He texted me he would send out someone the next day. No one showed up. Then I contacted him on August 5th,9th and again on the 25th. No answer at all. Then I reached out to ******* Builders to take a look at my problem so I could get it repaired. They told me they seen little holes in my roof where it was repaired previously. The shingles replaced was not secured properly and the wood replaced on one side was very thin and moved when stepped on. ******* company told me that the job I had done needs to be completely redone because it was not done properly. I do not have the funds right now to replace the work that needs to be done. They put roofing cover over my roof where it is leaking so it doesn't leak in the house until I can get it fixed. I would like to get my money back so I can get my repair fixed properly.

I contracted with Pro Touch in February 2021 for a bathroom remodel. I paid $6000 at the time of the contract. I called Dave multiple times throughout the spring summer & fall of 2021 for a start date for the project. I was told the delay was due to supply issues associated with the pandemic. He finally started the project in November of 2021. The crew worked until the week before Thanksgiving then work stopped due to coronavirus infections. Infections were cleared on 12/21/21, however despite multiple phone calls and texts, the work has not resumed. As of 1/30/2022, I have heard nothing from Dave for three weeks in spite of weekly texts and calls on my end.

On July 29, 2021 a che k in the amount of $24,000 was given for purchase of materials to do a remodeling job. On August 6, 2021 another check in the amount of $2,988 was given to the owner of the company for the purchase of an appliance package. When an agreement was made the owner of the company had said he would have the job done in 3 weeks time. The materials were said to take about 4-6 weeks to come in. For a total time of about 9 weeks after payment to complete the job. I allowed for several delays because of illness and lack of workers. The owner of the company was not answering calls and blocked me from his Facebook account when I tried to contact him about trying to settle the account. Floors were to be replaced through out the home. A bed room was to be added to an open living area. A master bath was to be created in the master bedroom. New countertops were supposed to be installed in the kitchen. The main bath was supposed to get a new toilet and vanity. New doors and windows were to be installed where needed. Drywall was to be repaired where it was never completed by previous resident and where there was damage. Some walls were installed but never properly finished. Some flooring was laid but most of the home is still exposed subfloor. Countertop was not touched. I had to personally replace the toilet in the main bath and install a temporary vanity to make the home livable until this issue is resolved. Master bath has some plumbing but no fixtures and is open to the crawl space below. We were forced to move into a home that was not completed because he promised the home would be done months ago and then went weeks at a time with no work being done at all. The appliance package was only partially received, the refrigerator was said to have been damaged and returned to the store and a replacement was never delivered. My dishwasher was never installed, and I had to install the microwave and oven myself. Included will be pictures of the home and checks.
