      I was referred to Keith H*** for his limo and transportation service for my son's senior prom which was scheduled on May 5, 2023. I spoke with Mr. H*** via phone the first week of March 2023, he gave his pricing, and I told him that I needed to discuss this with my husband. He then told me that the summer months are his busiest season with weddings and proms. It is his suggestion that I provide my credit card to hold the reservation and to text him my email address. On March 15, 2023 my debit card was charged in the amount of $400, and I was texted a link for receipt. I contacted him on March 20, 2023 regarding the charges, expressing to him the content of the conversation that we had regarding the reservation hold. He then told me and I quote " Oh we do not give refunds Boo "! I informed him that I did not wish to use his service, nor did I agree to the charges. He restated to me that he does not give refunds, and rather than argue I requested that we end the call. I later texted him requesting that he provide me with the cancellation policy and signed contract which shows me agreeing to the terms. He stated the receipt is your contract and that he could've booked someone else for that date. However, Mr. H*** was given proper notice of just under 3 months to re-book the date. I expressed again I did not wish to use his service, and I'm requesting my funds back. The day of the prom, he did not provide the service nor did he issue a refund. I was able to get another vehicle the day of the prom for an additional $250. I am not requesting that Mr. H*** cover the additional damage and inconvenience fees. I'm hoping that we can resolve this matter with your assistance. Mr. H*** has been in business as car salesman and manager now owner for over 20 years, and is very well versed in sales, contracts, negotiations, returns, and refunds. It is not my attention to tarnish his name, but to simple return my monies of the non contracted services.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The company did not provide a refund policy upfront. The company did not provide the service. The company did not notify me of the charges that were placed on my account. And the company did not provide any written agreement between the two stating they were in compliance. The company selects their price, if and when referred or not. This is has nothing to do with me as the customer.

      Mr. **** states that I the customer was "aware" of the fees and charges up front, however, there is no contract stating such the fact that he is refusing to return the monies for a service that he did not provide needs to be recorded.
