We pay Power Alarm for home monitoring. Our doors are wired to a panel with our security code. When the alarm goes off in the house, it is very loud and scares us and our pets half to death. One of our zone doors was put on immediate alarm instead of 30 seconds delay to allow us to enter our code. This immediate door alarm has gone off three times recently and each time the monitoring service calls us to ask for our password. The monitoring service keeps saying that they are not Power Alarm and they have no way to change the zone and we have to call the central number, which is very frustrating. We have called the central number time and time again they keep claiming they changed this zone door to 30 second delay and we trusted them. But, guess what? The same zone door alarm went off again scaring us half to death! The monitoring company told me again that they are not actually Power Alarm so they cannot do anything. Power Alarm cannot even take care of such a simple task and they are subbing out the monitoring service anyway, which was never told to us. We have paid them $30 per month for over ten years, which we are now regretting. We ask that they actually fix the zone door issue in their system with proof that it is done to stop scaring us half to death or refund our $2,800 so we can hire a better business to replace their whole home wiring components.Business response

Power Alarm takes great pride in customer service and satisfaction. I spoke with Mr. ****** and fixed the issue he was having with his system. We tested Mr. ******'s system and it worked as he wanted it to. I believe he is now happy since the issue has been resolved.
