Contacted **** ******** in March 2022 off a referral to do a concrete porch at my home. **** came to my home and advised the porch could not be patched or skim coated but needed a total tear out and removed. He also advised he couldn't do the work without me hiring a carpenter because of wood trim around my door. But advised me not to worry he had a carpenter and for me to contact him and see if his quote was ok with (****'s concrete quote) and if I agreed to pay both then he would do the job. But he couldn't do it without the wood trim around the door being removed. **** advised he would be out by late June to do the porch as he needed hot temperatures. Mid-June arrives and I havent heard from **** so I contacted him and advised we would be out of town on vacation late June when he said he would be there to do the work. Was he still planning on doing the work? **** advised he would try to fit me in that week. Come Thursday of that week he still wasnt there to do the work. I contacted him again and he advised he would be there tomorrow. He poured the concrete the day we came back, did not jackhammer it out and start new like he advised, did not have the carpenter present and removed the wood trim off my door that is still not replaced, the concrete is multiple colors where it was not mixed properly, within 3 weeks the concrete began to crack, its not even been two months and its chipping at the cracks, it does not lay flat with the brick of my house, he had to add a step because he did not replace the old porch and now the concrete does not lay flat with the driveway as it did before, I had to scrub my brick of my house and garage door where pieces of concrete splashed on it that he left, he removed the railing and advised he couldnt put it back up and advised I needed to have one put at ground level but I cant because of the poor workmanship he did and the concrete leaking under the wood so it wont lay flat with the porch. **** refuses to fix his poor work.
