Our child had a dental treatment on August 10th, 2022 at this dental practice. We paid $205 for the services they said were not covered by our insurance. After our insurance processed the claim our responsibility to pay for the dental service was $129. The dental office never notified us that "we overpaid" and have a credit on our account. We asked them to pay the difference back in February 2023. It is June 2023 and we are still waiting after several calls and promises from them. They used excuses (too many customers, wrong submissions etc) to explain the delay.Business response

Based on the research, it appears that there was an open claim with the Insurance, hence the delay in processing of the refund to the patient. The company confirmed that the claim closed on 5/24/23. Several calls have been made to connect with the patient which appear to be consistently going into voice mail.I even followed up with our head office billing department, and they wanted to verify the address and even offered to overnight *** ** the refund check of 76$ due to them. That again went to VM, and I am not sure if there was a return call made to confirm their choice.By no means has there been an intent to retain or not return someone's money due to them. We apologize for the inconvenience that this may have caused them in addition to the information that may have been provided by some of the newer team members.If there is anything else we can do, please let us know. We take tremendous pride in treating the children we see and are not willing to lose our reputation for this type of reason.Thank you,Customer response
