Do not spend your hard earned work money I repeat DO NOT SPEND your hard earn work money on Zales cheap jewelry they will not give you a refund in addition, they will make you pay for the warranty for replacing a piece of junk . I decided to call Corporate , which I have been in contact with ******************************* Case Team ************************** Who has done nothing but told me a pack of lies I told her my most important thing is my TIME. I just left the store.After going back-and-forth for about five months, after accepting the fact that Zales would not refund me my money which I know is a total lie because I received a refund from Zales before.(If I can find the check, I received from them I will post it as proof)******************************* assured me that they would not charge me a warranty on the item I exchange.When I made it to the store, no one had an idea what I was talking about good thing I asked for e-Mail as proof because I figured I could not trust her. Being the manager of the store tells me I was still have to pay another warranty. How are you guys gonna charge me double money for a warranty .This place has went down please do not get anything from here. All they do is lie about the situation take your money. Actually, I have a ton of junk jewelry from this place thats not worth the price. Im gonna post pictures later of it all broken. So if you do decide to buy from here, you definitely need to get a warranty to keep going back-and-forth to the store to get it fixed wasted gas and time.Thank you, Zales for stealing my money and wasted my time Just got off the phone with Zales now apparently people are making notes in the System trying to cover themselves considering the fact all they did theyve done with lied to me instead of resolving a solution. Store in ****** IL is not able to tell me when my $500 order will arrive. Very very poor service unprofessional i feel ive been scammed I will be making a charge back if the owner cant contact me to resolve this.Zales Jewelers Response

I purchased my wedding engagement ring from Zales Jewelry in 1996 and I purchased a lifetime warranty. I had the lifetime passport that showed the date I purchase it.Recently my diamond fell out of the setting. I went to ***************************************** and stayed there over two hours trying to get it repaired. The assistant manager walked me to the mall and said they can repair it for $60.00. She ignored my lifetime warranty. Later I talked with *******. A supervisor in ************** Ironically the department is called ************* when they don't care about customers they are there to quote policies. Why do we need employees to quote policies when an AI can do that!? I have been a customer with ********************** for ** years. I also purchased my husband's wedding band there. Zales is willing to lose a 30 year customer over $60.00. ********************** it will cost you more than that to gain a new customer. Decisions like this is the reason for your low ratings and eventually your demise.Unhappy customer that won't rest until justice is maintained!More to comeZales Jewelers Response

We would like to clarify that our records only go back to 2008. If you have your lifetime passport paperwork, we can honor it as long as any needed requirements have been kept.

These are the worst jewelers to ever work with. They have the worst customer service ever and will do everything they can to not guarantee diamond replacement even after paying for lifetime guarantee. DO NOT get your diamonds from Zales as they do not honor warrantee or their work. They are horrible! I would give it zero stars if I could.Zales Jewelers Response

We would like to clarify that our Diamond Guarantee is complementary warranty and covers the replacement of lost or damaged diamond provided that the required six-month inspections take place. The inspections are for our mutual benefit as they can identify issues that can prevent the loss of diamonds before they occur.

I was so excited to find a replacement necklace for my favorite one that broke on their website. I debated on purchasing for a while as its relatively expensive around $200ish. I purchased it and the checkout did not work. I tried it again and it just gave me an error notification that the item was out of stock. I was disappointed of course but no big deal. A day or so later my card was declined when I tried to use it and I thought how can that be I have over $1000 in the account. Upon investigation I see Peoples Jewelers placed not one, but four holds on my PayPal account for the item I was not even able ti purchase. This totaled over $800. This is all for an item the website already configured was out of stock. My account is now overdrawn, and incurring fees. I dont have money for gas, food, for anything. I have contacted them repeatedly only for them to say so sorry youll have to wait 30 days for it to fall off. I dont think it is ethical that I should have to wait 30 days for their $800 mistake to release. They refuse to do anything to rectify this situation. I contacted PayPal who assured me their PayPal manager can release these holds but they refuse to do so. So my account is overdrawn over $800 with additional fees. I have no money for food, and I dont even have an actual transaction, or order confirmation for even the $200 product as it was out of stock to begin with. PayPal has also sent them information concerning how they can release these funds but they refuse.Zales Jewelers Response

My wedding ring is purchased at Zale's In Temple Texas. We purchased the lifetime protection plan. A couple weeks ago I went in to get a necklace repaired( purchased at zale's, Also have had to have numerous repairs on everything from breaking to the clasp not latching.) The sales lady offered to clean my jewelry while I waited. She found two loose stones and a chip diamond in my wedding ring. She said it was covered under the protection plan. And did I want to get repairs. I told her I did want to get the stones tightened but that I did not want to get the diamond replaced, It was my wedding ring and I did not want to change anything on it. She said no problem. Got it ready to send off, Ask the man who worked there what she needed to put in the notes to have only the loose diamonds tightend and not replace the chipped one. The guy told me that was not an option. That I would have to buy a new diamond, I told him I had the protection plan. He said that because I had missed and inspection on the diamond that it was void. I again told him I did not want that diamond replaced, I didn't want anything changed in my wedding ring. He told me they were an all or nothing repair service. And then if I did not buy a new diamond , they would not do any other work. And not only do I have to buy a new diamond for the ring that is supposedly under a lifetime protection plan. THEY ARE GOING TO KEEP THE CHIPPED DIAMOND, THAT I PAID FOR. I told them that was an unacceptable , and left. He was extremely rude and not the first time he had been rude. I had never heard of a diamond chipping or breaking , The only thing I could find that it either already had a flaw, Or that it was a sub par stone. I contacted customer service and they also said. Because I missed an inspection I would have to purchase a new diamond for the ring, They would be keeping the chipped diamond. And if I did not do so , they would not repair any other part of the ring. ZALES LIFETIME PROTECTION PLAN IS A JOKE.Review from JoAnna K.

My husband purchased my engagement ring at Zales. He bought the lifetime protection plan. We were actually fairly loyal customers to Zales. They lost a piece of jewelry that I had sent out for repair. So we didn't go back for an amount of time. I went in to get a necklace repaired that I had bought at Zales it's had to be repaired quite a few times, everything from breaking to the clasp not latching. They were going to clean my wedding ring, while doing so she found two loose stones and a chipped diamond. The girl in the store was going to send it off to have the loose diamonds repaired. She asked the manager about the chip I explained I did not want to have the diamond replaced it was my wedding ring and I didn't want anything changed on it. The man in the store told me they were an All or Nothing repair. Was very rude about it. Explained that I would have to buy a new diamond and they would be keeping my chips diamond. Now keep in mind I have a lifetime protection plan. The only time I've ever heard of a diamond shipping is when it was a subpar Stone. Which maybe why they want to keep the chip one. Will not give me my money back for the protection plan that I can't use. Will not fix the loose diamonds which should have been covered in the protection plan. This was the second time I have left Zales because of the man that works in there. The first time I had called about engraving a bracelet was told to bring it in. The girl that helps me is fixing to send it off, he takes one look at it says we don't do that tells her not to send it. Tells me because of the bracelet type no one will engrave it. I take it the next day to a jewelry store in the same town they engrave it and have it back to me in 5 days. This is the ************. Between the necklace breaking over and over, the protection plan not covering stones, a diamond that chips, lost jewelry. Buyer bewareReview from Kellan B
