The company, DTM is owned by ***** ******** and was hired in October, 2020 to clean and apply polymeric sand and sealant for patio pavers located in the rear of my home.Following completion of the work, the company was paid in full in the amount of $5800. A month later, November, 2020, there were significant defects in the work and specifically cracks in fissures within the sand. ***** ******** acknowledged these defects and responded as follows: “ I make sure when the weather breaks in spring of 2021 that the joints will be fixed on the pavers that have cracked. This is a defect that I do not accept and will be fixed”. This statement was signed and dated, 11/20/2020. The defects have not been corrected as of November 20,2021. ***** partially removed the sand to in the affected areas for approximately 4 hours of one day in the summer but did not return to complete the repairs. With the exception of one time, he did not return any of my phone calls and rarely responded to my numerous texts requesting completion of this repair. He recently agreed to refund 40% of his charge of $5800 in lieu of completing the job which is $2,320. Other than $50, I have not yet received the full refund as promised. I am requesting this refund in full.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:
Regardless of his denying the existence of DTM, ***** ******** represented himself by promising to complete the job to my satisfaction which I have previously documented and which has not been performed. His dishonesty and unethical behavior, individually or under the guise of a nonexistent business should be exposed to potential consumers and his BBB rating assigned accordingly.
