I hired ****** ***** in May 2022 to perform mulch installation and bed clean up at my home. I paid a 30% deposit upon signing the contract, and the rest was to be paid “upon completion of the project and approval”. He and his staff came out to perform services later than originally promised and they did not complete work in the timeframe initially proposed. He asked for more time stating unforeseen conflicts, and then asked for more money for supply costs. After this was paid, he asked for full payment later the same day, citing a need to “pay his rent on time”. He promised completion of the job to our satisfaction. I have not seen him since. There is approximately 10% of the job remaining. In addition he has left his equipment on our property. He has ignored multiple requests to come pick it up. Additionally, his crew pulled wiring and metal stakes from our beds leaving them in the grass which I discovered by running over them with our lawnmower. My landscape lighting contractor had to come out and make repairs, and I was assessed fees for this service. I am hoping for either completion of the job, or a refund for services not provided as promised, in addition to reimbursement for costs incurred for damage caused by his team.
