I had an appointment on June 28, 2022 and I was told I needed a new processer and I told them I could not agree right away because I needed to get my insurance renewed, I told them not to order anything yet. I said I wanted to wait before I had renewed my insurance and looked into the product. But today I got a letter saying my account was going into collections, because they went ahead and ordered the processor right away with the credit card I had on file with them without my consent.Business response

Contacted the patient for more details. The bill is not coming from Blanchard Valley. It is coming from the device company for the implant that was ordered by the ENT office. Patient was told that if she didn't want the device, it could be sent back to the company. Patient has not called the office to resolve this or ask them to return the device. I will ask the ENT office to return the device and the patient will be credited by the device company. Patient agreed to this as a resolution.
