My 1 year old Doberman was boarded at ******'s ******** on June 1st -June 5th, 2022. ****** had assured me that she had 2 outdoor, fenced-in, grassy runs for my dog to run in during the day. I gave ******, along with daily food for my dog, 3 of his favorite toys to be placed in his crate while he was in it. I had also given her a quart size baggie full of dog treats that I told her needed to be inserted into one of his toys. I called her day 2 to see how my dog was doing. She texted back that he was barking in his cage and was "hyper" and "needy for attention". I texted back he is used to being outside and could she take him out. She explained she had "other dogs to attend to". The next day when I checked in with her she sent me an audio clip of my dog howling, which she said was "so cute". I l her know that I had never really heard him howl like that and perhaps he needed to go outside. She reassured me that everything was fine. The day of pick up I texted her that we would be returning from vacation and would be there in about 2 hours. She said that would be great and that she would have the **** and and his belongings packed up. With still an hour to go before arriving home ****** texted me that I should "...get him as soon you can." She texted that he "...had a sore on his rea foot from running around so much", and "...he's made the left side of his nose raw from pushing on the kennel gate." I assured her that we were on our way and to please let him outside. She said she had other dogs outside and could not at this time. We picked him up he ran right into my car. When we got him home he immediately went to his water bowl and drank 2 full bowls. He had liquid diarrhea and then when given food ate his kibble ravenously. I checked his bag and he had been given not a single treat or any food from his pack. I do not believe ****** gave him any care, food, water or love. She has no compassion Please do not board at ******'s if you care.
