            Transaction date was 10/12/2022. This business deducted $124.71 from my account without consent. Charges were never discussed by the psychology practice nor was I contacted about my insurance coverage for the cost. I filed this charge as fraudulent in which my bank reversed the charge. They are saying I owe a $124.71 in which I do not according to the invoice. I was sent an invoice on 10/11/2022 for $0. I also have not received anything from my insurance company as to discussion with Capital Psychological. I do believe this a fraudulent practice as based on client reviews the billing manager ******* has been treating innocent people maliciously when they try to ask why they are being charged for services that should be billed through insurance. This practice should be shut down completely. I have never experienced such an unprofessional practice as this one. They are deleting reviews and scamming people when they have insurance!! We are human beings and we deserve to be treated as such.

            The care given my the trained staff is amazing, but my review is specifically related to the office staff and specifically the office manager. He will, rather than let you know there's an issue with insurance so you can cut back on sessions or make other arrangements, wait until the last minute and immediately charge you the full amount. It's a shame, as this would be otherwise a great place. As it is I cannot recommend that anyone looking for help go here.

            The issue is not how we billed the client or even communicated with her. The client failed to let us know she had gotten new insurance and then all her claims got denied. We called her numerous times and well as the clinician reaching out so she could provide us with updated insurance. It took her over a month to submit the insurance to us. When she finally sent us the insurance, we called her insurance and found out that she was responsible for the costs of the sessions. We notified her and we collected those fees. Every client signs a form, that states if there insurance does not pay for session costs it is the responsibility of the client.
