I went through the drive through and was at the speaker. I ordered my ice cream cone and I thought she got the order and I drove to the window. When I got to the window the lady was really rude, she said that she didn't get my order because I drove off. I tried to explain that I have some hearing loss and I thought she got my order. She continued to be nasty and rude, I told her if she is going to be rude I will just leave. She said she was going to write it down for me? I told her I wanted to talk to the manager, she said that she was the manager and slammed the window shut. (I wear a hearing device, sometimes It is hard to understand the speaker at the dairy queen, I never had a problem before.) This lady's behavior was unacceptable. I felt discriminated against and I felt hurt. All she had to do was smile and be nice and say that there was a miscommunication at the speaker and help me at the window. This lady was really mean.Business response

The owner of DQ Gahanna called ***** ***** and apologized that there was a misunderstanding at the drive through. She thanked me for calling her and was very nice. I told her I would send her some free coupons. I think she was pleased.
