      On 6/16/22 I paid $5500 for half of a vinyl fence that was supposed to be installed no later than September 15th. I was called several times (daily) while I was securing financing. We had a tree cut down and brush removed July 18th so they could install with ease. Was told week of 8/9/22 fence would be installed. No fence no communication. Every time there's been a delay I've received nothing until I text multiple times. 8/19/22 told they were coming out to mark yard - they did - no fence. Utilities remarked on 9/15/22 with a fence install date of 10/13/22. Text on 9/30/22 to make sure fence would be starting on 10/3/22 - told yes. No communication no show - no fence. Both in August and October my husband took days off work to make sure they got job started and fence was put where we wanted. ABSOLUTELY no communication until I started burning up their phones with texts - tried calling too but no one EVER answers phones. I was told they didn't have fencing, my reply was don't need fence to dig posts - I was told that was first day's work. Was told 10/4/22 would get call by end of day - no call. Finally had phone conversation with *** the owner on 10/5/22 told him I just want my money back in FULL - no need to keep $1200 for restock fee - what are you restocking, I've been told multiple times you didn't have product. This past week I have been completely ghosted. I want my full refund. I have saved for 5 years to get this fence and now I want a full refund so I can go to a more reputable company that will communicate after they have money. This is my first avenue other than dealing directly with them, or tying to, but my next step will be to go to Turn to 2 and then I will hire the attorney I work for to pursue a legal means of getting my refund. Looking at their reviews, which I should have done prior (I went with one of our clients' recommendations) this happens to everyone that deals with them. I have proof of all the above in text messages.

      I have resolved issue with Dixie Fence by retaining an attorney and filing a police report.  I would HIGHLY discourage anyone from EVER using them for ANY reason.

      My guess is you will probably never hear from them as I had to obtain legal counsel and file a criminal charge against them to get them to refund my money.

      On 6/8/2022, a rep sold me fence. I paid $4905 down and qualified for financing on remainder. On 6/15/2022, within the 15 days the contract allowed, I changed my mind and asked the money be returned. the agent assured me there would be no problem. By 6/27, no cashier's check arrived, and I texted and called with no answer. On 6/30, ***** answered and said she would ask the owner what is up. later texting "she is on it". July 11 and still nothing. ***** said they didn't have my post office # so I gave that info and waited for the check. Tuesday August 2, ***** finally answered the phone. she apologized and stated I am her top priority. STILL NOTHING This is causing me hardship and stress. I was advised to contact the BBB.

      On April 8, 2022 I signed a contract for Dixie Fence to install a vinyl fence. The estimate was 12 to 16 weeks. I used the finance option they offered through Wright-Patt Credit union. They were paid in full for the fence on April 13, 2022. I was told that they would be out to install the new fence the week of August 22, 2022. We removed our old fence in anticipation of their arrival that week. They did not come to install the fence and will not return phone calls, text messages, or emails. They have stolen $12,960 from us at this point we want our money back so we can hire someone else.

      On February 17, 2022, I signed a contract with Dixie Fence South to install a fence. I gave them a check for $4020 (half of the total cost) and the expected start date was 6-8 weeks. After several months went by, I began to call them. They kept promising to install it and had the utilities marked twice. In July, they agreed to refund my total amount. They never gave a reason for the lack of installation. I received the check and it came back to me marked NSF (insufficient funds). I made an appointment with Wright Patt Credit Union where we both have accounts, and they reported they are investigating the company for fraud. All pertinent contact information is on the attached contract and returned check. Would really appreciate any help you can give me to get my money back. Call me if you need additional information.       Thank you for your assistance in resolving the subject complaint.  Dixie Fence issued me a check and I was able to cash it this time!

      On 8/17/21 *** ****** from Dixie Fence South came to my residence and gave me an estimate of $3900.00 to tear down my old fence and put up a new galvanized steel fence. He stated that it would be about 8-12 weeks before it could be done due to their schedule. I gave a deposit for 1/2 in the amount of $1950.00 by check which was cashed the next day. He also stated that it might be up to 16 weeks. At 12 weeks I called his phone number and he stated that his company was really busy and he would get someone there in a few weeks. At this time it was the holidays and I did not receive any contact from Mr. ******. After the new year in March or so I called Mr. ****** and he apologized and said he would send someone out in a couple of weeks. No one came out and I called back about 6 weeks later. Mr. ****** apologized again and said his company was really busy. On May 3rd a female with an out of state phone number called me to state that I would no longer need to call Mr. ****** and that she would be taking care of the scheduling. A few days prior I had called and left another message for Mr. ****** stating that I would like my deposit back. This lady did not give me a date but promised it would not be too long in the future. I lost the number to the lady for scheduling and called Mr. ****** again on 7/26/22 and asked for my deposit back. At this time I have not received any further contact from the business and we are now approaching 1 year since the contract was signed. I have a picture of the contract but was unable to upload.

      In the beginning of June we hired this company to install a fence. I gave them a deposit of $2900 check. The check was immediately cashed. After weeks of asking when they were coming we were told this past Monday. They still haven't shown up to install the fence. We have asked for our money back and again have gotten no answer. Upon reading Facebook reviews they seem to be in the habit of taking money and not doing the job. The last review they had to call the police to get their $6000 back after 21 weeks of waiting. We would like to hire another company so we do not have 21 weeks to wait for them to return our money. We want our money back.

      To whom it may concern.
      I have heard from Dixie Fence and they have refunded me of my down payment. But only after a promise that I would be contacting the local Police. I am not satisfied with the companys efforts as it was a stressful situation and a extended delay of service now due to their unprofessional practices.

      On Ap 15, we signed a contract with Dixie fence to install a fence on or before June 10th. I made several calls over the month to insure we were on schedule because of an important event at my home. Up until June 9th they assured me the job would be done. Now they are not taking my calls and have not returned my $7,000 deposit. This is a crime and I want a refund.       May 13th salesperson, *****, came to quote chain link fence at my mothers house; Quoted $4000 with $2000 deposit to start fence end of June. My mother gave him a check, letting him know to not deposit until tomorrow so money could be transferred to the account. It was near 5pm. ***** stated it would not be a problem. We went directly from there to meet my husband who is said that was way overpriced. I immediately texted ***** and told him to cancel contract and not cash check. The text message had “read” label, so I knew he had seen the message. I then called the next morning to confirm the check would not be cashed, but it had already been withdrawn from my moms account and he stated he did not get the message. I asked for immediate refund to my mother since the check should not have been cashed yet anyway. It’s been 2 weeks, multiple phone calls and no return call since last week stating it was in the mail. My mother is elderly and on social security and cannot afford to just hand out money for nothing. I would have expected a refund right away.

      We entered into a contract with dixie fence south, and *** ******, on 10-30-21. It is stated the expected start date is 5-7 weeks. They had not done ANYTHING but put us off continually until i fired them on 5-9-22.

      Contract signed and deposit paid of $5500. on 1/20/2021 Contractor ordered fence on 2/16/2021 Fence arrived at supplier 1/31/2022 (changed fence mfg twice) 10 month lead time ? Was told we were first in line for install, Retracted that and said we are in a group of 7 jobs No install dates, just we are soon, shortly and getting close. Promised install the latest 2/2022 Called in utility locates, said will start job next week. 3/4/2022 2 months later, No fence or firm date of install as of 4/28/2022 Keep saying "soon" 15 month when we were quoted 6-8 weeks. They are not keeping their word to us, so what quality of work can we expect. I would like to either get a reasonable firm date on when the fence is going to be installed or a 100% refund of my deposit as the contract can not be fulfilled.
