When I moved in to the apartments back in January 2023, I quickly discovered that there were several pests. And I didn’t know what they were until I took my son to the doctor and the doctor told me that they were bedbugs. I very quickly told the landlord manager and she told me that it was my fault that I had bed bugs and that they were only going to provide store bought sprays which they never provided. I saw the condition the apartment next to me and next to that and they were in filthy living conditions. So I believe when they moved out and cleaned out all the trash from the apartments next to me, the bedbugs got stirred up. Since then I have found out my son is severely allergic to the bites from the bed bugs. I went out myself and got sprays to treat the apartment and I still keep finding live bedbugs. I have sent both my landlord manager and landlord pictures of live bed bugs and the welts from the bite that are on my son’s body. They both keep ignoring me and will not answer me about getting this issue resolved. At one point I asked if they would be willing to choose a exterminator of their choice to kill the bed bugs professionally and the landlord said he refuses to give permission for any exterminators to enter the property even though I’d be paying for it. I also have all the texts messages from between myself and my landlords if needed. I don’t want to live rent free and I don’t want to be compensated…. I simply want a safe, clean, bug free environment for my son and myself. Please help us.
