On 3/14/23 I purchased a maternity/newborn packet from Ella-Glance Photography, paid in full with the expectation of having maternity pictures taken on 4/22 and newborn pictures to be taken on 6/4/23.
Gabby (the photographer) met with us in Huber Heights where she completed the maternity shoot and was suppose to mail out the prints on 4/24/23. However those prints never came.
On 5/11/23 I messaged her for an update and was told she mailed them out USPS and then sent them again UPS, however they still never came.
On 5/25/23 another message asking where the prints were and agreed that she could bring them to the newborn photo shoot.
On the morning of 6/4/23 she sent me a message asking for their home address which i gave to her, but she failed to show up as planned. After numerous attempts to contact her, she finally informs my family she couldn't show up due to work issues, etc. She offered to refund the full amount since she failed to complete the session. She sent me a screenshot of where there was a refund posting back to me.
After a few weeks went by i contacted her again because we still haven't received the refund. She tells me my bank rejected it. I contacted my bank and have a letter stating no such transactions have taken place nor would they reject the refund.
After contacting her again, she continues to tell me she will refund my money and could she send it back to me via cash app. On 6/21/23 I set up a cash app account and sent her my information, still no payment. She then tells me she will send it at 2pm, but still doesn't send it.
I contacted the police and made a police report. The Champaign County Sherriff's office also told me she has failed to answer or return any of their calls in attempt to find resolution to this. I've since found out she has a pattern of doing this to other people. She is lying and taking advantage of others as well. I have all documentation to support this claim and would appreciate any help i can get.
