I had Mrs. Powerwash wash our house, porch, patio & flagstones around the patio. They charged $290 plus I tipped them $40 (in the company recording tips are solicited). They were packing up while I walked around my house to look at the results. They had knocked a piece of siding off the house. I went back out to talk to them, they were in the truck, ready to pull away. They never said a word about knocking off the siding. When I said something, Robert said “oh, we use a soft wash not a hard pressure wash”. He then said something about maybe some air got behind the siding & lifted it up. He told me it would be easy to re- hang. He eventually said he would have one of his workers come out & take care of it when he was in the area. This was May 16. I never heard back from them. I called & left messages on May 27 and June 3 asking when they were going to come. I never got a call back. I called again on June 9 and said in that message that if I didn’t hear from them by the following Monday I was going to report him to the BBB, ******* **** and anything else I could think of. Robert called me back within an hour. He told me he’d been in the hospital for 10 days with COVID. I told him I was sorry to hear he had been ill, but since no one had returned my calls I had no way of knowing that. He proceeded to tell me that my siding must have been in bad shape for a piece to fall off, that he was originally going to fix it “as a courtesy” but since I threatened him he wasn’t going to do it now, he had the girl in his office transcribe the threats I made, he said he was going to have a meeting with the owner (I’m pretty sure he’s the owner), he said he’d done thousands of jobs & this rarely happened. I stood my ground, asked if someone listened to his voicemails and was able to transcribe my third call why did no one call after the first two calls, I repeatedly told him he said he’d get the siding re- hung, He got louder and more belligerent and finally hung up on me.Business response

Hello,
As we explained at the job we do a softwash 140 psi the spray is very lite and the cleaner actually does the work. A softwash will not knock down siding because it is the same as a garden hose on your siding. The siding was very loose and hanging and when we told you about it you said to rinse it and we did. The siding then fell off. If the siding was properly locked in it would come off. Again we are very sorry your siding was poorly on but we do not re hang siding that our soft pressure cannot knock off

I am rejecting this response because: This is a complete falsehood. Robert never said a word about the siding being loose, to either my husband or myself - either before the job or after the job. I certainly did not tell him to go ahead and rinse it. I found the siding lying on the ground after they finished and stopped them before they could leave to ask about it. He told me that he would send someone out to re-hang the siding. I know that I am not going to get this unscrupulous business owner to step up and do what he promised, but I do want it to be on the record at BBB about how he treats his customers.

The job that the company did was good, but after services were performed, we realized our Ring was not working. We contacted the company to try and help remedy the situation and they blew me off like I was an idiot who didn’t know what I was talking about. The last video footage we had of the Ring was the employee directly spraying the Ring yet they assume no responsibility and blamed Ring. Robert was rude and dismissive in regards to this and now a $150 service turns into a $350 service due to neglect.Business response

We did speak to the customer yesterday. We work around hundreds of ring door bells a week and never had an issue. This door bell has been outdoors for 1-2 years according to the owner and in the weather. The plastic door bells can crack according what we have read and can take on water/moisture eventually. Ring does make a cover for extra protection which gives it more protection. The owner was aware we were washing that day and did nothing to take extra precautions of protecting his ring now wants us to pay for it. The ring door bell is listed as water resistant not water proof that is for the owner to research and know and take precautions.
