      To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting a complaint regarding my recent experience with Tas Eletronics, where I was grossly overcharged for an alarm system that still does not function correctly. Upon realization of the overcharge, I spoke with ****, the store manager, who initially promised a refund of the $50 discrepancy. However, upon returning to the store, I was informed that only half of the amount would be reimbursed. Additionally, the system was missing a part upon installation, requiring a return visit for correction. Despite addressing concerns about the system's performance, particularly in relation to reading the trunk, the issue remains unresolved. This level of service is unacceptable and I am thoroughly disappointed by the lack of integrity and competence displayed by **** and Tas Eletronics

      I paid for tint. And was not happy about bubbles in it. I expressed this more than once and was told they would look at it. Nothing was done the bubbles are still there. Second I paid 400 for a new Kenwood stereo plus installation. At that time was asked for steering wheel controls be hooked up and they were not hooked up. The radio was malfunctioning and we expressed how unhappy we were about the radio. We made an appointment to come in on Tuesday 5th at 11am too fix everything. We got there and after waiting 15-20 minutes **** spoke with us. He agreed to install a cheaper radio at 200 and also said he was going to change me install fees again. I was not happy. Before leaving he asked to hold my id or debit card to make sure I would bring back a empty radio box to them. So as they told me they could resale the stereo to someone else as a new stereo. They while situation does not seem right to me. I will never step foot in that store again. For the amount of money spent I was not given proper service or equipment. And was doubke charged for installation

      When the customer came into the store you requested a new apple play android auto with a volume knob. There were be a labor charge to change out the radio. You were shown at the counter why there was going to be additional charge. You stated you understood and you were not being confrontational. You were asked to bring the box back because we cant resell the radio without the box and manual. Normally without having that we would not do any kind of exchanges. The window tinting will have moisture in the window tint for up to 30 days. It also comes with a lifetime warranty. After the 30 days if it was still doing it you can bring it in and the warranty will cover it.  We also said not to roll down windows for 4 days.

      I am rejecting this response because: I did not roll the windows down for 5 days . And the bubbles I've complained about are on the one roll down window the rest on the rear window. Each time I was there you said you could look at it. And never mentioned anything about fixing. I've I have spent around. 1,000 dollars in your store and have window tint that cost 200 dollars that needs attention. A 200 dollar radio. So that would be over 600 in labor you have charged myself. We asked for the steering wheel controls to be hooked up on original install. And your company did not do that as well. Also when I came in for an exchange on radios I told you the radio you sold me was malfunctioning on our vacation and continued to malfunction. When we came back you changed my radio for one half the value of the original and you charged me for install again. You guys have not done right by me or my fiance for that matter. The only thing at this point that would make it right is a refund $200 for tint job and half the labor at $300.

      I will under no circumstance come back into your store and allow your guys to do anything to another one of our vehicles.

      The window has a 30 days before its dry. If its still has issues after the 30 day we would fix it or replace it. They were told upfront about the additional charge. Once everything was done they had a $25 credit they could use.

      I am rejecting this response because: **** you said the reason the radio acted up on us was because it had needed a update. So that is not true what you said about the radio having no issues. Bottom line you have taken advantage of myself and my fiance and it is not appreciated. I hope you don't do business like this on a regular with other other customers. And bottom line you **** do not want to make this right. So stop wasting my time and yours and tell me that.

      I had my front windows tinted with TAS Electronics and there are numerous issues. There are bubbles left in the tint, the drivers side window has bubbles all over due to dirt being on the adhesive, the white marks left on window, windows not being prepped properly. I have had several windows tinted and never once have they ever looked like this. I was told I had to wait 30 days for them to redo and I was told it's because of the winter that's why the windows look the way they do. I have had windows tinted in the winter as well and never had any issues. I am not comfortable having them redo, I want to go to another company and would like my refund. I paid in cash.

      I paid This company $1,936.50 To install a sound system in my truck included I requested Construction strobes be installed Labor and materials was Quoted $199.95. And that was included and paid at the time of the sound system installation plus $15 for strobe supplies But was told the strobe needed to be ordered. After a couple of weeks after the sound system was installed and paid for. I made an appointment to get the strobe installed. When I goy there, ************* looks at my receipt and says I didn't charge you for installation.. You need to leave your truck for the day so we can give you an installation quote. I say you had the truck to put a sound system in you should know what it cost to put in and you should have told me installation was extra and given me that quote for extra money. I then open the tiny strobe box and the lights were very tiny and not worth $50 let along $199.95 pus $15 for shop supplies. So I said look I asked for strobes to be installed and I paid for that you never said anything about an installation charge. I said I won't pay $200 for these cheep tiny lights that I get much better ones at Autozone for $50 and easily put them on myself. I said I want my money back that I already paid you to buy and install. He called me a liar then yelled at me saying that they were special order and that I can't have my money back. I was very upset and told him That I was going to report him to the BBB for this. He laughed at me saying go a head I've been a member for 27 years.. This happened on March 3 2021 I did approach a different employee recently and he told me he would get a hold of regional and find out what to do about it, and that he would call me back within 2 days. He did not call back. I am requesting $199.95 Plus $15 for supplies to be returned back to my card as I did not receive the product or supplies.

      The business owner informed BBB that the consumer came to his business on 3/4/21. The business had done previous work for the consumer and he had come in that day wanting lights. The business does not stock the parts, so they had to be special ordered. The business was unfamiliar with the specific product, so it did not quote the consumer for installation.

      The consumer had assumed the price included installation. When the parts came in, he told the business that he wanted a refund. The business does not provide refunds for special orders. It is clearly stated on both the consumer's receipt, as well as posted on location. The consumer became belligerent and irate. He walked out.

      Close to a year later, the consumer contacted the business asking where his refund was. The business is still holding the consumer's parts for him. He is welcome to come and pick them up. Otherwise, the business considers the matter closed.

      Also The receipt says All sales final, no refunds. It doesn't say No refunds for services not provided or no refunds for special orders like their response claims it does.. Nor was I told it was a special order Just that they had to order them. Nor does it say on the receipt that it's a special order, What I find amazing is that $215 is worth more than all this ridiculous effort to steal money from a good customer.

      They just told me they did not have the lights anymore and that I cannot have a refund. This was a con and a scam. Just refund my money what is so hard about that? They tried to overcharge me by adding an extra installation charge after I already paid them to install the cheep lights that weren't worth $20 let along $200. Plus $15 for shop supplies. I have 3 construction trucks they all need strobes and back up beepers. Evidently stealing $200 is better than having my business. It may be because I had my Black grandson with me is why I was singled out to pull a scam on just my opinion on that, I treated them good I paid a lot of money for a Sound system and lights installed, So install them, do what I paid you to do. I just want a refund now of $215. And My time is valuable That's why I didn't have time sooner to deal liars who took money for a service they didn't provide, Also It doesn't do any good to try and resolve an issue with a sketchy outfit like this myself.
