Anonymously sharing that there has been a pregnancy discrimination complaint filed in the state of Missouri against CBIZ and specific management within the company’s National Recruiting Team. The complaint has moved past the first 2 rounds of consideration and has been formally submitted by the Missouri Commission of Human Rights on behalf of this former employee.

Customer service is a joke. they don't care about you as a client once they get your money. Jami Reyes was my insurance broker. Should would never call me... just send emails and never followup on urgent matters. Urgent matters like the policy expiring. "i sent you emails" Call your clients on urgent matters, text them. Sometimes emails get lost or servers go down. Now my policy was dropped and is not renewable! What the heck is a broker's job if they can't communicate with their clients?

Customer service is non-existent and rude at best. Employer selected carrier of our HSA and it has been a nightmare to work with them. If given the choice, look elsewhere for services.

We used CBIZ for our business and personal tax filings. They overcharge for research and refuse to disclose the time spent on researching a question. One question was never answered and I was charged $1600.00, but given a credit for $1450.00, which they said was extremely fair. A simple filing for a sale of a piece of property cost me $3,000.00. It's unreal what they charge! It was not a difficult decision to leave CBIZ

Employer chosen HSA Manager moved our funds to CBIZ. Within four months our HSA manager canceled services with CBIZ. Within nine months I paid 6% of my balance in fees, and not one HSA transition was performed. Their claim, "We do the right thing" and "We are dedicated to the success of our clients" are quite deceiving to all stakeholders.

CBIZ made the decision to terminate the relationship with the HSA Manager chosen by Ms. ******** employer.  Account service and transfer fees are typical in the industry.  The fees assessed to Ms. ****** are normal and customary fees that CBIZ charges all HSA account holders in Ms. ******** circumstances.  CBIZ’s fee schedule appears in the HSA portal and on statements.  CBIZ charges a fee of $7 per month to service HSA accounts for former employees or where there is no billing relationship with the employer/plan sponsor/HSA Manager.  A fee of $35 is charged by CBIZ for the termination and transfer of an HSA account to a different bank.  Ms. ****** was charged the $7 monthly fee from the time CBIZ ended the relationship with the HSA Manager until she requested her HSA account be transferred to a different bank in March 2023.  The transfer form was signed by Ms. ****** on March 2, 2023 and the transfer of the account to the bank of her choice was completed and confirmed on March 22, 2023.

CBIZ has no documentation that Ms. ****** ever inquired about or disputed the fees charged for the maintenance or transfer of her HSA account.

I was formerly with the tax company ***** *** ******* which merged with CBIZ. For my taxes this year my bill went up over 100% without any transparancy. For a simple joint tax return they charged me initally 856 dollars. The years prior my bill was a little over 300 dollars. No information was given to me of any change in billing or price. They said I was on the old discounted rates of Weiss. However none of this information was given to me. I cannot recommend any small client using CBIZ.
