Where do I begin? So many problems and we continue to live the mistakes. This winter is the worst. Our house leaks like a sieve. The cold air even coming thru the second story baseboards. Poor insulation in the walls and there must be openings for the air to come thru the baseboards. You can hear the wind whistling thru the cracks...Literally. They hired the cheapest contractors and NO foreman. No one is supervised. With no inspections in this area they get away with crappy work, screwed up H-Vac system and a mountain of other problems that show up 2-3 years even after they left. We can't even enjoy the house we poured so much money into. They take your money and don't return any of your calls after they're done and the problems start showing up. If you have a fire and they show up as ServPro franchise, run in the other direction. Jerry R*** will convince your insurance company it's cheaper to mitigate the mold and restore rather then tear down and rebuild and that's where your problems begin. They will give a low ball estimate to win the contract which is a lie. Because he amends several time and it ends up being more than the highest bidder. By the time you realize your insurance maximum is already spent. The job is going to take a lot longer than said, but don't worry all your stuff is stored in his storage place which your paying him to keep while he's doing your job. So delays help him and hurt you. He will seem friendly and gain your trust in your most vulnerable time after a personal tragedy. You'll think the fire was the worst thing to happen to you until you realize all the problems you have to live with after the so called "restoration"; even returning mold, which the insurance company will not cover! The bottom line is the job was bigger than they could handle, but they saw dollar signs. It's been 3 years being back in our home which we can't enjoy, because there is always something else out of pocket that is not covered by insurance.
