Had this company do some work for me then I had the city come out anc do a reevaluation of my house for property taxes and they states the steps they built on the back of my house were not up to code as their do not have hand rails. I feel they need to do the job over except build them right and up to code . They are also a little pricey to be crappy work .

I hired ***************************** who owns a handyman service in *********, **** to remodel a master bathroom in June, 2021.The work was sloppy and neither plumbing or electrical was performed to code.An electrician described his work as criminal with fire hazards. The electrician was so concerned that he wrote a full report with photos and redid EVERY SINGLE item that was touched during the renovation.It was shortly after the work was completed that I noticed the sink on one side of the double vanity was leaking and appeared to have different plumbing than the other side of the sink. As it turned out neither drain was done correctly and had to be reworked.A few days later I noticed that when you flushed the toilet the water from the toilet would gurgle in the shower drain.There were things like the shower valve was put in backwards so the hot water came first instead of the cold.The plumber I hired for repair work showed me the valve is clearly marked hot and cold and all you have to do is line it up!The shower head was not secured in the wall so it moved when you tried to reattach the shower head. A move described as lazy by the plumber that had to repair it.The shower drain did not have a trap on it and plumbers bidding on repairs commented that I was lucky sewer gas was not coming into the house.Plumbing in the unfinished basement was easily accessible and I was told by ***************************** from Dad Does it All no problem!!He has done a LOT of bathrooms.ALL the vanity plumbing had to be redone by a licensed plumber.The basement plumbing redone by the same plumber.I contacted ***************************** and explained what had happened. I asked him to reimburse me for the repairs and he said he would make it right.I got estimates from different companies for the repairs.I asked ****** to pay only for repairs and supplies and the repairs were reasonably priced.The bills totaled approximately $1700.I contacted him with the exact amount and he asked me for 2 weeks to get the money together.The repairs had been done and I wanted to give him a chance.I gave him 2 weeks and a few days and I never heard from him.2 days ago I let him know the plumbing **** was due and I needed the money.Nothing back from him.He will see he did not get the text I sent to remind him he owes me money.****** never had a problem getting text messages when he was working with me.My two previous contacts with him were directly by phone.My intention is to post this so others know to just let the professionals do the job in the first place!!The professional will do a quality job, not risk your life with a dangerous electrical job in the attic of your home and it will cost you less than doing the job twice.
