We retained Paino Builders to renovate a house and build an outbuilding. We moved into the house in December of 2019 even though work was not completed. There is still incomplete work in the house. Fireplace is not finished and unusable. Several areas of paint work not complete. Temporary stair rails still in place. No lights or electric fixtures on outside of house. Other detail issues remain uncompleted. The large outbuilding has no lighting inside or out. It has no heat. Three garage doors have no seals and no openers. Electrical work is not complete. Water heater is not operating. The entire ceiling has to be insulated to seal up the building. Two man-doors in building need to be painted. All of these items in the house and out building were part of the contracted work and not "extras". All of these items should have been done months ago. Builder is unresponsive to our emails regarding finishing up his work. He has had more than a year to finish the work. We spent all last winter in the house with no siding though that got done this past summer. (a year late). The outbuilding has been in place since 2020 and still has no heat or lights. We cannot unpack our boxes and organize the building without this work complete. We have to maintain access to the entire ceiling area for when they finally come in and finish the insulation work. We want them to finish the job or formally quit the job and let me pay someone else to finish. There is money in esc row to finish that we cannot use to hire someone else without permission by the bank and the builder Thanks. I can send more photos if needed.
