I hired *** **** to remodel two bathrooms and build a shed. He completed neither bathroom nor the shed. He never gave me a copy of the signed original contract, then proceeded to ask for more money and also stated that most of the work was never agreed to...yet he had already started these repairs. (if they were not in the contract, then why did you start the work???). He quoted me a price for all three portions of he work, bathroom one, bathroom two and shed construction. He ended up paying two laborers for sitting around the job and being un-organized, then when he ran out of money and hadn't purchased all of the materials, started asking for more money. I am not responsible for his lack of organization and the fact that he pays his help more than they are worth. We signed a second contract for him just to finish the shed. it was supposed to include money for the rest of the materials and labor. the shed needed the roof sheeting, felt and singles. it also still needed to have the doors built and the ramp. There is also still trim work that needs to be completed. I agreed to paint the shed. so he did come out and finish the sheeting. never got any doors, ramp or shingles from him. I had to pay for the materials needed for the doors and ramp and I also had to pay someone else to finish the doors, roofing and ramp even though we had a contract and already paid *** **** of Hawk construction and remodeling. Now he will not return my calls and when he does answer a text, I get lie after lie. FYI, he also did the same thing to my next door neighbor and their deck, left it halfway completed and they had to pay someone else to complete the job even tough they paid him up front.
