11/22 Sent email to cancel membership. Finances tight and an injury that needed a rest. 11/23 Was emailed back asking if I would consider a 30 day hold. 11/25 Stated I would need to do a 60 day hold, which they said was the max allowed. 12/18 Sent email asking why I was still being auto charged. I was charged for 11/29. 12/6 and 12/13. Auto charges stopped after this email. 1/23 Sent email that I wanted to resume membership. Asked again about the charges made in error. Asked if they could hold charging my card for first 3 weeks when I return. 2/11 Asked about credit again and response was that they thought it was settled. Told them it wasn't. 3/20 Emailed cancellation request. Another injury and have realized that these workouts are hurting more than helping. Acknowledged that I have to give 30 day notice. I asked if they could just waive the last 3 weeks of the 30 days because of the credit due. Just call it even. 3/25 Did not get a response to my cancellation email. So I sent follow up email. 3/26 I received an email with a cancellation link. I was told that as long as I filled it out & returned it by the end of the day, they would back date the cancellation to 3/21. I completed the form and sent it back that day. The CEO is who I have always communicated with. He forwarded my recent cancellation to the Director of Operations. Her emails keep referring to the fact that she has told me multiple times that she can not speak on conversations that I had with the CEO. The most recent email is now trying to indicate that I should not have signed the cancellation letter if the credit dispute was not resolved. There was some verbiage they use in the letter that I wondered if it would come back to bite me. I was on a time restriction and figure surely it didn't apply to a credit due. Convenient how the cancellation is done thru a link so now I can't even look at the cancellation letter. $29.02 per week times 3 is what I feel I am due.
