Called ***** **** by his company line advertised on google labeled Legal Services to receive advice on my current legal matter regarding Family Court. He advised a specific approach (submit paperwork) and requested $1,150 imm. Before working with me. I sent the money within 2/3 days of his requesting money. He informed me as my court day became close that the initial approach he suggested wouldn’t be the best approach therefore we should wait it out and let me go to court without him filling the paperwork he originally requested the funds for. After my case was settled I requested the money I sent him back because I only used one hour counsel time and I did not need this paperwork he stated I would need to submit prior to my court date; and ***** ****s response was i should alot 30 days and then I can receive my money back. On the 30th day I contacted his office for him to tell me he isn’t in he will look into my matter once he is in the office. I emailed him the next day, he didn’t respond. I called him on the 33rd day for him to say that his computers are down and he can’t help me. I emailed him on the 34th day asking about my refund and ***** **** stated he will look into the matter for the 4th time. Today I am no longer waiting. He has pushed me off to attempt to keep my money and I am not the only client he has done this to per what I read here on the BBB website. I would advise anyone reading this to speak with one or two more lawyers before you send this man any money because if you need any of your funds back it will be like pulling teeth. The man will ignore you and put you off hoping you will forget about your money. Sad sad experience I’m having. I work hard for my money to feed my family with that’s so much money I could use to take care of my family and he’s holding it happily while pretending like he’s working on things to get it back to me. He has told me 4 times “I will look into that”. Such a lousy way of doing business.
