    BUYER BEWARE! We moved to our new house in April of 2023 and immediately began looking into ************** fencing contractors. Windsor's Fence Repair checked all of the boxes in terms of what we were looking for; at least so we thought... Windor's came out within a few days of our inquiry, surveyed our yard, and provide a quote, terms and conditions, anticipated start date, etc. They were set to start within a couple of weeks. While we understand that fence installation is weather-sensitive, we had no idea that our contractor nightmare had only begun. Since April (I'm writing this review in July), Windsor's has failed to meet every expectation. Not a single crew member has been out to get the process started, despite several days of good weather. We have called/emailed several times to at least have a sign of good faith. One of their main points of contact, Linda, needs to be reminded of where we are in the process on a weekly basis. Despite multiple touch points, she fails to comprehend that we are patiently waiting customers and takes advantage. She takes no ownership of her mistakes. We are approximately three months in with no fence. The icing on the cake is that Linda has no recollection of our down payment, despite her being the person we provided it to. We are now in the position of having to reach out to other fencing companies that are (understandably) scheduling several months out. Advice to Windsor's: We appreciate the idea of contracting with local businesses. More times than not, our experience with local businesses has been top-tier customer service, clearly outlined processes, and great work with great character. Congratulations to Windor's for failing on ALL accounts. It's our hope that you will learn from your mistakes so that no other customers have to go through what we have. Be better.

    Windsor's Fence Repair Response

    Mr. J**** was provided an estimate on 4/5/2023. His wife called a few days later and inquired if we could do the job at a substantially lower amount. We told them we could not. We never heard from Mr. ***** again until the weekend of July 4th. He insists he contracted with us and gave us a $6,000 deposit, which he did not, and has not been able to provide a credit card receipt for the transaction. There was no contact between Mr. ***** and our company between the first week of April until the first week of July. Which fence company they had been dealing with is something they need to find out. If they have their $6,000 receipt it will show who they gave it to.
