First email sent to Skipper Buds: Below are pictures from our boat that we went to pick up on Saturday, April 29, 2023. Upon inspection, as you will be able to see from the pictures below, the service that we paid for was not completed. We were charged $1,741.42 for buffing, waxing and cleaning the entire boat, both inside and out. I have also attached the detailed description of the services that were paid for as well. I have also attached a copy of the payment, paid in full on April 19, 2023. *** ****** was present during the inspection of the boat and he, along with **** ******, the salesman we worked with when purchasing the boat last year from Skipper Buds are both copied on this email. I also called and spoke with ***** **** about the concern yesterday, April 1, 2023, as well. As I stated to *****, along with my concern that we were charged over $1,700 for worked that was clearly not completed in regards to cleaning, buffing and waxing the boat, I also have a concern about service and warranty work that was also paid for over the winter. Located at the bottom of the email is a charge for service work that was paid for in full for $768.30. Given we paid $1,700 for a service that was not completed, how can you ensure that the service work that I was charged for was in fact completed? I look forward to a resolution to this issue(s) as soon as possible. First, completing the work that was paid for in regards to cleaning the boat as well as an answer to how you are going to ensure the service and warranty work were actually completed. They were given an additional week to complete the work that was paid for and failed to do so. I sent a second email to Skipper Buds detailing this. They do not disagree that the work was not done. They admit this. Even after given two opportunities to complete the work, it is still not done. I have contacted the General Manager as well. I also have numerous pictures and have sent these to Skipper Buds too.
