We started working with Anthony in October of 2022. We created a contract of renovations that totaled up to around $80,000 but failed to include a completion date so he’s abusing it. He verbally said and agreed to be finished by January 2023 and were entering march. The house still has a long way to go and he’s been paid in full even though the contract stated 50% in the beginning and 50% in the end. I have a 4 year old child and a one year old infant living in dangerous and unsafe environments. We’ve done airbnbs and hotels and can not afford to do them anymore. He doesn’t show up or answer any of our texts or phone calls. When we do get a hold of him, he keeps promising to be finished by the end of that week and then never shows up or reaches back out. We just want to be fully moved in and settled but the conditions are not okay. He took another job over almost two months out of spite and and undisclosed employee of his told me that. The house hasn’t changed except for little things here and there in over a month. His employees who he sends here and there just to make it look like they’re doing something scratched our brand new floors. We have counters coming to be installed in two days the cabinets aren’t leveled properly. His teams $13000 paint job was horrible. He’s given us a majorly hard time. He finished it 2/3 of the way and won’t come finish the rest. Has his dangerous tools and dust all over the house as well as wires hanging out and uncovered outlets. These people have been nothing but a problem from day one. The project went from 26k to 48k to 60k to 80k 127k as they constantly change their minds and get mad when I tell them it’s not in the contract. I have 7 different contracts with them as it was a planning and working hassle the whole time. They ran out of money about 1 month ago and started to try to pay me with credit cards and other ways but I told them to just figure it out. It was nothing but a hassle everyday dealing with them.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
There’s lots of cracks in areas he redid, painting is horrible all over the house, wires out everywhere, floors all bounce and aren’t placed correctly, primary shower turns pretty much off when you put it on hot, bath tub has been dripping since December, and so on. He’s also very nasty in the way he speaks and was before we reported him but here’s a message he sent when he realized I did report him.
