      This happened when i got my service dog. I showed all the paper work to ****** Slater my land lord and even called her to see what i needed before I went ahead on it. She told me what kind of paperwork was needed and she made me pay a flee deposit whick i should not of had to pay for my emotion support dog . She was ok with everything and now that my lease is about up she came to my door last friday and told me i have to leave primise by Oct 1,2022 my rent has never been late and i can show that with reciepts and i pick up after my dog and my dog does not disturb any one she dont even bark she is 12 yrs old. I called her after she was rude to me at my door and ask her what i have done and she said they where not going to renew my lease and could not give me a reason why and another thing is that i am the only women in this building and what she is doing is not right so i need your help.

      I am sorry to hear that our TENANT is having customer service issues.
      Please be advised that Slaters Inc. has exercised the option to NOT
      RENEW the lease with said tenant as stated in the lease. Tenant
      understands that the unit must be vacated by October 1, 2022. If
      tenant has not moved belongings and returned keys they understand that
      they are in violation of lease and we will turn documentation over to
      our attorney to file with the courts.

      I returned my keys on 7/1/2022 and live in Ohio. I left the place cleaner than I found it. I myself had to fix a broken window and put a cover on the attic after months of no reply from the owner or their handyman. I have reached out to the owner about me deposit being sent back to me and she will not respond to my phone calls or emails. Ohio law states to return the deposit within 30 days. I have emailed this business and left three phone messages with no response.

      A copy of charges were sent to tenant as of today. I was on vacation
      and not able to send the charges to tenant. I told her on the phone
      that I was out of town and would handle when I returned on 8/15/22. I
      sent check in mail today that she refused on 8/10/22. She has also
      been referred to our attorney since she is not in agreement with the
      charges taken against her deposit.

      I asked Slaters Hardware to install a deadbolt on my front door. When the installer came he assured me that no one would be able to break into our home with new deadbolt. Wasn't long until I noticed our home was being broken into again. So I called and asked them to install another deadbolt. The first time they charged $100, the second time it was $120 when hole was already there and it took 15-20 minutes. Well I gave him a credit card number and it didn't work so I drove to the store to pay. While I was gone my home was broken into. I am sure they gave this guy a key to my deadbolt. He has been going in to the house and vandalizing it since. Our water was shut off. Our furnace was shut off. They put bedbugs in my bed etc. This is so wrong in so many ways. I can't believe people are so evil.

      On February 28,2022

      A customer named ****** *** or **** called and asked us to install a deadbolt on her door.  It was a Kwikset lock-set 660, we preformed the service that was requested from the customer.
      Generally speaking, deadbolts are very sturdy locks that can withstand being kicked in and other forced entry attempts. However, a door with a deadbolt can still be kicked down if the door itself is not solid and the hinges are security ones.  Deadbolts are one of the best ways to secure your home,  burglars should not be able to break through a deadbolt with a crowbar or pick them open, which ensures the safety and security of most homes but we can not control who tries to break in and they can not be deemed 100% secure.  The customer was given the only keys. We do not keep anything.

      On April 19,2022

      This customer called and asked for another service call. Our Locksmith was asked to take off a Kwikset 660 and have it replaced with a B60N Deadbolt.  [ which was more expensive than the one first installed ]  She was given the only keys. We do not keep any keys.  We performed the requested service from the customer.

      We always believe a deadbolt lock still plays a significant role in protecting anyone's home from a break-in. We do not know how the customer is handling the burglary and what Authorities have been called to solve the problem. Again we do not play any role in other than the service which was performed and requested from the customer.

      It is easy to blame legal authorities, businesses and others for bad things which are happening to them.

      We have only done what was requested to help secure the property.

      *** **** I understand that this lady has probably no idea what is going on in the lock area. The technician assured me that with 2/4 wood blocks in the windows and a deadbolt on the front door no one could get into our home. I agree. Unless my stalker was given a set of keys. Each time the tech came into our home there was no sealed package being opened. The first deadbolt I understood because I asked for an extra key. However the second deadbolt I told them I only needed the original two keys. The tech only brought in the lock. Didn't bring in the packaging because they had opened it in the store and made one for my stalker. My stalker is 27 years old tall and slim. I would lay money that he has been in Slaters multiple times. My suggestion is that you tell the tech to take a sealed package with the lock in it to the customer. Have them make an extra key if they want one. That way you cannot be accused of these crimes. I paid $225 for deadbolts and the same day that he put the second deadbolt in my stalker broke in. This is putting my life and my grandkids lives in danger. We have no heat since then because stalker turned it off.

      We are enclosing a copy of the order. we have responded with a list of what work was done. We do not know about anything that is happening. We do not know her stalker or have ever given anyone keys. She is the only one who has them. If they have taken the keys from her and had someone make them we are not aware of it.  The packaging is the normal commercial packaging that is used for all customers. There are commercial cardboard boxes which we have sold for nearly 30 years.  We urge this person to have the police investigate the situation, there has been no  knowledge of a police report that we are aware of in all this time.

      We take pride in the town we work and live in, with a  fine reputation and a long history in the community. 

      We are sorry for her situation and circumstances. We take her problem to heart but we did not give anyone her keys, We have only done what she asked us to do. We are referring her to the local police to help solve her problem with her stalker.
