I hired John H*** to inspect the electrical at our house under renovation. We asked him to complete the full electrical and sent hom what we needed done per the county inspector. What I didnt know was he would phrase the contract in a way for him to not have to do what we needed although he verbally agreed to what we asked. He wrote the contract for a rough-in inspection including permits and turn power on at a house under renovation. He told us he was licensed, turns out he wasn't. He did electrical work and told us everything was done but months later after we already paid we got letters of non-compliance pending the power getting turned off. Turns out the rough-in was never done, no permits for the inspections were ever pulled and no inspections were done per the county.

100% incorrect, please don't try and give me a bad review for your incompetence on reading a contract , the same contract your wife signed. My contract said **** would get the electric back on. After it was inspected. It indeed was inspected and the power was turned back on, I have thr inspection sticker as well as permit information. You had another electrician come in and pull wire and finish everything. I completed my contract & was paid in full for the completion. I even went over to the house and did a walk through for you to see what the other electrician did and was able to get this situated without having to remove your current occupied tenants.

It was not incompetence, we sent you the county inspection report that you told us you would complete. You wrote the contract as a "Bait and switch". I am was not familiar with the electrical process, but we did make it clear what we needed done as a full renovation as a rental. Your contract was not for just temporary power with ****, it was also for electrical inspection of the existing wiring, correction and pulling permits for the rough in inspection. We have the texts emails as well regarding the work you agreed to do. Any electrical work you did was never permitted except getting power turned on, which was completed by **** ***Electrcical not you. You said you were a subcontractor, but we never hired ******* electrical for that. You claimed to be licensed and insured but you refused to provide your information. We never hired another electrician, that was what we hired you for. The county inspectors sent me all of the permits pulled and confirmed no permits were pulled by you. Your contract was for the rough in electrical, not just turning on "temporary" power. You failed to pull permits for the rough in work and electrical, which was you not completing your contract. You told us we could drywall because the rough in inspection was passed which was lie. When we got notice the power was going to be turned off because the electrical was never inspected, it took you months to contact me. Then you offered to help fix it but further advised you don't do electrical work anymore, even though you still advertise for electrical work as an electrician. We never had any additional wiring pulled by anyone unless you "subcontracted" with someone else. I'm not sure why you keep saying that. We drywalled while you were the only electrician doing work on the house because you told us we could. I would try to call you to get clarification but you only call me when you want from a restricted number. Now I had to hire ******* to redo what you were supposed to have done plus do the final inspection work. You went over there to give your "professional opinion" of what the inspectors would say needs corrected. This house was already pre-wired when we bought it. If you have the records you claim, I would love to see it. I have emailed you trying to discuss what you said you did and see the records your claim to have. I have yet to get your response other than you saying you completed the electrical contract.
