I dropped off my tax documents to “******** Tax Solutions” at the end of February 2023. I was unaware that this business had recently been bought out. Early March, I stopped by the office to ask a question to which I found the office empty. I called the listed number and was informed they had moved the office. I asked to pick up my tax documents incomplete because I did not like the lack of communication. The front desk employee said the accountant had my documents out of office and would get back to me. Several days later, I received a call tell me my taxes were complete. When picking them up, I noticed my local taxes were incomplete and left them to be completed. A week or so later, I was informed everything was fixed and could be picked up. I paid and picked them up. I noticed my local we filed incorrectly, showed back up at the office and was assured it would be looked at. After receiving no word from anyone despite many phone calls, I cancelled my credit card payment to their services. I called the business to inform them of this the first few days of April. I called later that week and FINALLY spoke to the owner/accountant. She assured me that the local would be completed the week of 4/10 and I could mail off the federal and other documents that were complete. I called the office again on Wednesday 4/12 and left a message. The office finally callled me back on 4/14 and said that none of my federal or state documents would be edited until I paid but my local would not be completed until the following week, after the tax deadline. I was instructed to come with $160 cash if I wanted my taxes filed. As of now, (1pm on 4/14) I plan of paying them before 3pm so that my federal and state will be filed on time.
