            Insurance does not cover the procedure for a reason. Almost 6 months out from surgery and still have my heel pain. $2000 spent PLUS follow up appointment costs. The shots given before surgery were a type of pain I’ve not experienced except child birth. Dr. Is very friendly that’s why I have it two stars. Otherwise it would have been one star.

            At Mid-Ohio we strive to attain 1st time resolution of the heel pain symptoms patients deal with on a daily basis. Sometimes, due to the chronic nature of the plantar fasciitis in a small percentage of patients a second procedure is required to obtain those results. I understand your hesitation with the pre-procedure injections and want you know we offer other forms of regenerative medicine options to help further the healing process along. Our goal is to alleviate your heel pain for good and even without the repeat of the non-surgical procedure we have options for you to consider. Surgery is never a good option as it alters the structure and function of the foots muscles. Someone from our office will be in touch to discuss other options to help you get to a pain-free condition. We understand your frustration but don't give up, because we don't.
