****** ***** has done alot of work for me. In July, 2021, he took the bracket that goes to my lazy ***** corner cupboard because the metal piece on the end of it broke and he was going to have it welded. To date, he has not brought me the bracket back. He said he took it to someone else to weld it, as he didn't have the proper equipment to weld it. In his last text to me in October, he said he was going to refund me $40.00 as the guy he took the bracket to had a heart attack, then passed away. I had already paid him to have the bracket fixed, well, I have asked him NUMEROUS times to return the bracket as I can take it somewhere else to have it welded.He will not respond to any of my text messages. I need the bracket back as my cupboard is too old that no one makes the bracket anymore. I don't understand why he has :ghosted" me because he has done ALOT of work for me the past couple of years. I just want the bracket back so I can get my lazy ***** corner cupboard fixed.Business response

Prestige Roofing and Construction has done alot of work for Miss ******* (House & Garage Roof, 500 ft. Vinyl Privacy Fence with lighting, Painted the Garage, Among other jobs) We prided ourselves with trying to help are customers with anything and everything. We have been in business in lima for almost 10 years with thousands of customers, residential and commercial with no complaints. As Miss ******* stated, we tried to help her with her antique lazy ***** that she broke.We dismantled it and took the broken support bracket (at no cost) to a welding shop that was charging her $40.00 to repair it. The was busy and said they would have it done in a week. The sole proprietor had a heart attack and died, with no family his shop was lock and place in probate court. This was explained to Miss ******* and we notified her that as soon as the courts release it, then we will contract the new owners and get the bracket back. but Miss ******* would continuously call, text and leave notes every other day for about three week and al we could tell her is the same thing over and over. we try to service are customers to the best of our ability and we have wait to responded to this complaint in hopes that the courts would do something, but they have stated with covid spiking they a backed up. She may want to consider spending $90.00 and buy a new lazy *****Customer response

I appreciate Mr. ***** responding but he isn't being totally truthful. He NEVER told me the business he took the bracket to was turned over to probate court. He NEVER told me he would notify me once the court released the business. He NEVER responded to any of my text messages or calls or I would have not filed the complaint if I would have known. Yes he has done alot of work for me and that's why I'm very disappointed that he has not talked to me about this. I did not break the Lazy ***** bracket. It broke on it's own because it is old. I have tried to find another contractor but have not had any luck. I would gladly pay for another lazy ***** but as I don't have another contractor, it's impossible. Mr. ***** was always so helpful and honest with me That's why I don't understand why he didn't respond to my messages.
