Sept 7 2022 went to vet for ear infection. Paid for test to see what bacteria to have proper treatment, infection started to get better then worsened on my pet. Oct 7th returned for check up they chose not to clean ears in their words he had incredible improvement and was able to check ears without sedation. Oct 25th I called to notify them the ears took a turn for the worse and was smelling, infected and I feared for my pet, they gave me drops to use at home. Dec 23 sedate and checked ears.Jan 13 2023 I was told by a different vet at the same location that the other vet didn't give him the correct antibiotics which had cost me at this point hundreds of dollars. I then was forced to get another ear test because they failed to do their job correctly the first few visits and gave him medications that made the problem worse by allowing the bacteria to grow and allow my pet to suffer without even an apology. Jan 30th 2023 vet confirmed wrong antibiotics were give for the type of bacteria. Had to sedate my pet again and do additional treatment and was told at least 2 or 3 more visits now totaling over $1000 in pet bills. Technician showed me how to do the treatment at home due to not being able to afford it that many more times which all stems from the misdiagnosis months ago now. Feb 6th 2023 got medication to do at home. Feb 27th saved enough up to have them do this round of treatment sedate/ clean/ syringe inject antibiotics into ears. I specifically asked to have BAC technician since she was familiar with my pet and he felt safe w her. Upon arriving I had to very young new girls enter asking me what they should do and how to do it. They were very inexperienced. I asked if we could reschedule and they told me yes. When I called to reschedule they said they will no longer accept us as patients with that being the last day before treatment had to start all over. I would like refunded 75% of last 4 visits payments for stress, anxiety and poor vet practitioner.Business response

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of my decision appear below.
Service provider ( Lisbon veterinary clinic) made false claims in their response. ************************* however by choice, is willing to reduce the initial appropriate and desired compensation (monies lost and mental enguish) to only 70% of the last 4 visits due to their poor professionalism and care of said pet and a 200 word hand written apology sent to the address on file within 10 business days with tracking number. This is the final response before additional action is taken against business.
