      On Sept 15, 21 I paid a deposit of $100 to reserve and book a photography session with CM Photography. The deposit was never stated as Non-refundable. The date of the session was for November 21st at 3:00pm. At 1:23 pm on November 21st I received a message from ******, owner of CM Photography, stating that she needed to cancel the session. As I understand things happen I am unable to reschedule with this photographers availability for my maternity photos and asked for my deposit back because I needed to seek out another photographer with a sooner availability. I was refused my deposit of $100 and told they weren't discussing the issue any further. I have proof of messages as well as transactions that I can provide. Payment and decline of refund all through cash app.

      Hello,

      I’m owner of CM Photography. I did state that the deposit would be non-refundable due to the fact that I used it to buy materials for a complimentary newborn session I was going to be giving. All of my deposits are non-refundable unless it falls on me, then I give them back. I didn’t cancel our session. I told her we could do the 4th or 5th like she had stated. When I contacted her to reschedule due to rain and my son being sick, she wanted a refund and said if I didn’t she would ruin my business by having multiple people post bad reviews on my Facebook page. I will not be refunding her her money. Furthermore, my business is no longer a business.

      I have submitted proof of all conversations. This shows that it was never stated that the deposit was non refundable, as well as her canceling and rescheduling on me previously. Also ********* stated her business is "no longer a business" yet she was operating as of this past Saturday, proof of that is also submitted, where there are new reviews of current customers.
