Additional Information for Viugou

In October 2021, BBB investigated Viugou’s business practices. This investigation was prompted by recent complaints. Consumers allege they ordered products from Viugou and then received the wrong item or nothing at all. A consumer from Newburgh Heights, Ohio told BBB "on August 5 2021, I purchased a fender 8 string guitar from www.Viugou.com for $77.26 using my debit card. I didn't receive a receipt for the purchase, but (was notified) shipping would take between 10-20 days since it was coming from China. On September 9, 2021 I received a small package from USPS from Viugou and it was a pink tank top. Viugou sent the wrong item. The address for them does not exist nor does the telephone number work. The return address on the package when I looked it up on the internet comes up as a scam. I've (tried) communicating with them through email ([email protected]). I sent them pictures of the wrong product, the package info, and USPS information. The company will not give me a refund or send the guitar.” On October 7, 2021, BBB checked the website, https://www.viugou.com, to determine when it was created and where it was registered. The website was created on July 7, 2021 and is set to expire on June 7, 2022. The website was registered by Angela Nolasco in Lorain, Ohio. BBB conducted reverse image search of select inventory photos on the website and that has shown that some of the photos are used on other websites. BBB has attempted to contact the business by mail, email, and phone calls. Calls to the company were answered by a recording for the "Survey Company." As of October 20, 2021, BBB has not received any response from Viugou. Based on the information detailed above, BBB cannot confirm the legitimacy of Viugou.
