On April 11, 2024,I spoke with ******.I wanted to install fenceposts and wire on my farm.A week later,****** spent an hour walking around my farm.I wanted to purchase and install the gates, latches, and the braided wire myself to save money.****** carried a clipboard and measured the lengths and formulated an estimate at $2500.00.he said a deposit of $500 would be fine to get on schedule. But before leaving,he asked me to wait for another estimate. He said that since he buys in bulk,he may be able to get me a reduced price on gates and latches. After more than a month,I still had not heard from ******.I called him to inquire. He stated that he needed to come back out to reassess the original estimate..We set a time for him to come back out and settled on the following Thursday. No call No show. Two weeks later on June 09,I called ****** again to find out what was going on with his return trip.He called next day.During this call ****** told me that he“decided to retract the estimate”.He stated he had decided not to perform the project.I was angry and I stated,“I’ve been waiting for two months!”He said, “You could’ve signed a contract any time.””At no point did ****** request or even mention a contract. He only mentioned the $500.00 but he contradicted that when he told me to wait until he price-checked gates and latches.I shouted at ******“You told me two weeks ago that you’d be back out to update your estimate!WHAT NOW!?”He replied disrespectfully “Well you were kind of on the edge of our service area anyway.”I shouted again at ****** “You never mentioned any problem with my location or any contracts when you said two weeks ago that you be back out!”I was angry and yelled at ****** that I would not be able to find anybody to perform this work this late in the year.He said,“Well we decided just to not do it and you can call someone else!”I told ****** that I would be reporting these events online. He sort of chuckled to himself and said, “You can do whatever you want.”
