We bought a Blodgett pizza oven from ***** ******* he had listed on ****. Oven was to be refurbished all new parts, with new stones. And shipped in 10 days. It was over a months till oven was shipped almost missed the deadline to make it on the ship to make it to ****** in time. When oven arrived it was the wrong oven. No new parts other then the stones, it wouldn't even work. Not even the pilot light. We contacted ***** ******* he admitted his guys sent the wrong oven, he agreed to find us the right style of oven we paid for. This was all in June of 2022. Around Sept-Oct he contacted us with pix of the oven he was going to fix up and send us. Now here it is Jan. 2023 and he won't take our calls, or texts he would return our msg our anything. We paid $3000. With shipping for a working refurbished Blodgett pizza oven. And we never got what we paid for. And now no replies from him.Business response

The guy bought an oven from me back in the spring and the reason it took so long for shipping is because he's in ******. We got a call from him after the oven was delivered for a few weeks and he said he went to turn the oven on and it didn't work. He told me that the pilot safety was bad and that if I sent him a new one he would be happy. We sent the part out I can provide the *** tracking he received the part I didn't hear anything from him for a couple months. Then he called me and said that the oven was the wrong oven and I told him to send it back for a full refund and he refused he wanted me to send him another oven and refuse to return the other one. Then he got on my social media and started posting on my ******** account and my ********* all those derogatory remarks so I was done with him at that point. He also did not pay $3,000 for this. The price was around $2,000 I'll have to dig up the receipt but I have the text messages back and forth from us and the receipt for where I bought the part and the tracking number where it was delivered. It's really hard to keep everybody happy all the time we sell 350 of them a year all of our feedback goes through **** but they only give you so much time to believe bad feedback so when people are ***et months and months after the warranty expired then they come to BBB and do it.

Hi ******,I'm emailing regards to the pizza oven we bought from Landoll inds. As it appears this is something that is becoming a new habit for them. We have all the texts and dates of contact back and forth. From June 10th to Dec. 15th. In regards of us getting the right oven we paided for. We paid $2245. Plus our ship costs of $386.94. Total of 2631.94 for the wrong oven and an oven that didn't even work. I didn't put anything bad about our service with him till after he stopped corresponding with us. Which was Dec. 15th. After weeks of trying to contact him through text and phone calls. Then I looked into his social media to get ahold of him. To us it appears he plaid the game till all my options of refund expires and statutes of limitations ran out. So we couldn't do anything through ****, ****** or anything thing to correct this wrong. We believe that he was doing his part to make this right but in fact he was stringing us along till all time restraints ran out. Like I said we have all prof of this.Thank you for you help **** ****** ************Customer response

The consumer still has not received the oven he ordered and the one he received is not working. (The business did not want the consumer to return the oven, because shipping costs were too high.) It is the consumer's understanding the the oven he ordered was actually shipped to another customer in *******. The business owner had located another oven, was going to pick it up from *********, refurbish it, and then ship it up to the consumer. That has not happened. The consumer feels the business has intentionally delayed the resolution process until the time to challenge the charges have expired.
The consumer wants the business to either provide the oven he ordered immediately or refund him his money.

Avoid at all costs unless you want an oven that doesn't work. I bought a ******** **** pizza oven with full understanding that it worked properly. It arrived and would not turn on. I had to replace: ***************** Valve, and Thermostat. He promised to give me **** (half the cost) dollars but has since basically avoided me. I bought the oven in May and it is now December. No refund has been issued. He ripped me off and I am sure he will rip other people off as well because he has a 100% Feedback on **** but does not sell anything on **** directly, which is very shady and that is how he keeps his business going. This dude seems to just get old ovens and sell them broken. At least that is what happened to me.Business response

I sold a pizza oven to ******************* back in May of 2022 we shipped the oven out and I didn't hear from him until July. He explained to me on the phone that he made a bunch of modifications to this oven to fit on an outside trailer. I guess the oven was damaged why he was doing that. The oven has a 30-day parts only warranty. The oven was thoroughly tested before it went out and tested in good working condition. After he had the oven for over the 30-day time period he contacted me and said that it needed a pilot safety or thermocoupler he said he had a guy to work on it. I walked him through on how to replace it and he just kept contacting me and contacting me and contacted me after the warranty was up. I offered to send him the money for the parts and he wouldn't produce a invoice. He did a chargeback with his credit card and took his money back. I offered him to return the oven at that time and he refused to return it. I disputed the charge back with my credit card processor and it was decided in my favor. I can update my return policy and I can update my warranty. The guy he had working on it didn't know what he was doing. I did my absolute best to work this out with him I end up having to block his phone number because he was harassing me so bad. We have been in business for many many years and we sell 350 ovens a year. This is my third complaint in 17 years so I would like to think that we're doing something right ..We do stand behind our items but we can't stand behind them for anymore than the 30 days ..everything we sell is used reconditioned. It's not like he bought a brand new oven from the factory. The thermocoupler that he needed originally was six bucks. I've done everything in my power to help him. Some people you just can't help I'm sorry. As far as **** goes we have been selling on there since **** and I do have 100% feedback thousands and thousands of transactions. 100% rating
