The most professional small business we have encountered. The owner, Derek, has been very accommodating with our needs. We have never felt out of loop due to his excellent communication skills. The workers who worked on building our deck, were so friendly and very professional, always addressing any concerns we had. The final product have exceeded our initial expectations. During the process we have been in touch with Derek and he was very responsive to talk about any issues. After the deck was built, Derek came to see the final product, fixed a couple of things himself. We are very happy for choosing A and B construction company and we highly recommend this small business to fulfill the needs. Thank you, Derek! Your employees are the best!Review from Mike W

Above & Beyond Construction is by far the absolute best contractor experience I've had to date. Derrick is phenomenal with communication and always keeps you in the loop. A & B is very busy(which to me speaks volume for a company), however, Derrick always sticks to the schedule. Aaron, who has completed 3 projects now, isn't just an employee, this man is a master craftsman. Aaron is very skilled and has done fabulous work my shower, kitchen backsplach, crown molding, closet door installation, trim and a several other things. There literally is anything he can't do if it exists inside or outside a house. A & B has completed a deck and a patio addition to a friend's house and also was fabulous work. I won't call anyone else when it comes to something needed to be done at my house. I greatly appreciate the honesty and professionalism that Above and Beyond Construction delivers everytime. Derek and his crew replaced my gutters and did a lot of weather proofing and replacing rotted boards on my house exterior. All I can say is that the work is top notch and competitively priced. I will definitely use A&B for future work. What set this company apart is the level of constant communication and updates from Derek.Review from Kenneth O

Derek and Josh helped repair our deck to pass inspection. The previous contractor refused to come back and repair items needed to pass inspection. They also found several other safety issues that they resolved quickly and efficiently.Review from Karen K

Our deck was finished today and it far exceeded my expectations. The quality of the work is excellent-the best. Derek was great keeping us informed of the progress toward the work start. Work was done on time and I can’t say enough good things about the quality of the work. Josh and his crew worked all day , kept us informed of the progress. The inspector said it was the quality he had ever seen. And it is. You won’t find a company with more integrity. If I could give them all 10 stars I would. Derek built my deck May 2022. He also replaced the flooring on my two balconies. I could not be happier. He made the deck so I could just walk right out my front door without needing a step. My courtyard is fenced with a gate. Derek made a ramp so I can easily walk in and out. The composite would He used is fantastic. Derek is great work to with and so pleasant. He had to take down a 12 × 10 × 15 ' high canopy and put it back together again. Derek is a gem.Review from Lisa S

A&B built a 16 x 23 deck with 2 sets of stairs/railings. This was such a smooth process with great communication. Josh took pride in his work, and shared what he was doing each step of the way. This is quality construction, and A&B took every step possible to be sure this deck lasts for a long time. Derek worked through the design with us and even suggested a "picture frame" layout to give the deck a bit more of a high end feel. He was easy to work with and receptive to thoughts. Unlike many we contacted, he responded quickly and followed through! I would not hesitate to use A&B for future projects, and have already recommended them to multiple friends.Review from Pam J

The owner Derek was such a delight to work with, very professional and easy to relate to. He was so helpful from start to finish, and so knowledgeable. He and his crew exceeded my expectations for this project. and I would recommend him in a heartbeat. We really can't say enough great things about our experience with A&B construction. They tore out a rickety old deck halted away and replaced it with a beautiful new Composite deck. They addressed a plumbing issue we had while they were here as well.. They pay great attention to detail are very professional. They tend to over deliver on everything they do. The crew was so pleasant it was like having a member of our family working for us. Every evening the worksite was cleaned and organized out of our way and was prepared for a work day the following day. The price was very fair. They arrived on or ahead of scheduled time for the beginning of the job and every day. We usually say the job was fine but however with this job there was no butts about it. It was all done professionally on time on schedule on price and I could go on and on about this company. We could not have been more pleased with the outcome. Had a bathroom redone - guys were professional; diligent and did a great job. Had clear communication on cost; they cleaned everything afterward; and finished ahead of schedule. Never were missing/on other jobs. Could not have asked for a better service. Priced a few other options prior to contracting with this group and they were in line with other options.
